I think the only way we bring him back is if we get into the Europa League. Happy with him staying at Feyenoord for the remainder but if Miggy got injured it would be the right thing.
Disagree. Cup and sub appearances to bring him through next season and we’ll see whether he cuts the mustard, particularly if we’re in the CL, UCL or EL.
So proud of the lads. When I saw the 3 goalkeepers, Dummett, Ritchie and the crèche as the bench, I thought we’d be absolutely fucked, most celebrating our biggest home win against creepy Todd’s vanity project.
Hamstrings as reliable as Michael Owen’s. I feel for him but this type of fitness record probably explains why no team with European football has bitten.
Problem begins and ends with ‘£70m rated’. We haven’t got that to spend. Halve it and cleverness with FFP would work but you get the sense someone like Branthwaite from Everton as needy sellers to fund Bramley Dock would make more sense.
Great article on Lewis Ferguson at Bologna. Would love us to take a punt:

I think he’ll have to come to the hard realisation that he’s going to be one of three now rather than one of two. Fantastic player but super noodle hamstrings mean we can’t rely on him when we’re a Europe chasing team. Particularly when Isak has had his travails with injuries too.
