See I'm of the opposite opinion, we have a lot of technical players, we need someone with flare and creativity who can score goals as well. Love him or hate him but I'dove a Bruno Fernandes type is exactly what we need or an odegaard before his bad injuries.

Aye I'm 250 mile away, every home game is a trek, being doing it 13 years now since moving, it's baffles me when I have to drive 5 hours South yet people leave early to gan for a pint. I'd love a large standing end where your surrounded by like minded fans, for me what got me hooked on football was the passion, particularly when I first stayed going to away games years ago. For me if I just attended a football game to spectate I'd just watch every game at home, the appeal of going to a live game is the back the time the atmosphere, the shouting on your team with pride..

We've not had seat relocation changes for years, unfortunately that is only solution imo to improve atmosphere...
-
Spot on, I don't get why people get so hung up on it, main issue is fact that their is like minder fans together...
-
Even look at the season Howe came in, the away end at Elland Road was literally rocking. We came out the ground and few Leeds lads even said you lot were relentless given how bad the team has been. Remember some of the championship away days too, we Newcastle and we're gonna win the league on repeat...great days. Thats the difference between supporting and spectating.

What I find hard is that a game of football and a day out has become ticket checks, transfer limits, transfer ticket cost etc but you see people at Sunderland away where clearly they aren't there on merit, surely that defeats object.. I actually appreciate the the times of being 18-21 following Newcastle even more now, the defiant support, the getting behind the team no matter what, looking back at some of the away days, I remember west brom away the away end sang Peter lovenkrands for 90 mins, spurs away 4-1 down with a bouncing away end..

4 people trying to come out at halftime in front of us with pints when they were told they had to go back inside they said they didn't know you couldn't take drinks out...
-
All them good away ties as well, was praying for low league away tie
-
Trouble is nothing will change, we need trust supporters club and WF to get together and push club for seat relocation and dedicated standing areas, it's only option really
-
Some of the away days in the 09/10 and 16/17 season were absolutely class, Huddersfield and leeds 2016/17, Peterborough Barnsley Boro 09/10 etc..
-
Still can't understand how a family enclosure is next to away end.. can't think of any other ground where that is case. It's probably not best experience for young kids either
-
Exactly what the trust should be pushing...should be the highest priority really, not even sure if anyone on here is involved anymore but would of been good to know what come of the workshop?
-
The only fix will be to have a big seat move in the summer to relocate like minded fans but don't think that will happen. I would make a chunk of the leazes standing and relocate fans to others, also having family enclosure next to away fans Makes very little sense..

Very good knowledge of Oxfordshire and Berkshire towns.

In terms of European atmosphere France is very underrated, I actually thought PSG was far far better than Dortmund couple year back and actually better than Milan too.
-
Aye me cousin sent me that pic, was saying still best away end he's ever been in to this day. Think it was @Wallsendmag or @Whitley mag who said a similar thing when talking about match atmosphere but could be wrong
-
Mind you we can't win at times... Fans getting stick on twitter for singing 3-1 down and staying to end...was there yesterday and still rather that than toxic atmosphere...
-
Against Brighton he was constantly suspect to the ball coming in behind him, same as West Ham. For me last 3 away games teams have placed on him probably due to his lack of pace. I agree midfield give zero protection.
-
Was awful against Brighton and West ham as well...
-
In terms of pre match music was up until mid 2000s or later they used to play New Radicals "you get what you give". Heard it today... always seemed to be associated with them wembley runs in late 90s..
-
Ha, in fairness when the club announced safe standing i actually thought that area would of been perfect given it is the biggest corner.
-
I'd actually make that area safe standing...
-
Suppose it was more related to general ticketing but imagine someone would aak question on amosphere

There was a ticketing seminar tonight, wonder if anyone raised atmosphere there
