It's worked for Villa. It worked for Man Utd a few years ago when they got Sabitzer and Weghorst just to patch them through to the end of the season. It's poor for PSR I suppose but I don't see the problem in having a couple of squad players each each season on loan.

Fantasy Premier League (2025/26) N-O League join code in OP

Gone a bit rouge and triple captained Cunha v Wolves. -
Mentioned it before when Sky Sports stick 4 live Sunday 2pm games on, but all 10 games shown in 2 sittings this midweek. Their marketing about how they're going to be showing so many more PL games this season than ever before is an absolute con.
-
We got Bracewell v Villa? Same night Cole broke the record. Venison against Villa the following season, too.
-
Hamann v Arsenal Charvet v Boro
-
Robert free-kick at Derby.
-
From a security perspective, he's probably thinking if he goes up with Boro, they'll struggle and he'll be out by October next season. If he goes to Wolves, they're expected to go down, he should get them up.first time, then he'll be out in October a year later. 12 months extra wages in the bank.
-
I'm sure this was the match where Robert lamped Alan Oliver (or tried to) after the game.
-
Their most expensive signing this summer being a player from Nice whose barely had a look in, while the rest are Premier League experienced players on Frees & loans who we'd have turned our noses up at (other than their backup GK).

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (playing for Leeds United)

His goal v Fulham is the type DCL is scoring every week at the moment so would like to think we can start getting these types of goals again more regularly. -
Still am alcohol ban in the Scottish League, too

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (playing for Leeds United)

There's been plenty incidences where the ball has been fizzed across the 6-yard box and no-one was on the end of it. -
It's a great song. Think Hearts v Hibs is the best derby in Scotland.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (playing for Leeds United)

He's scoring goals at the minute that we've been putting balls into areas for where no-one has been there to tap in. No guarantee he'd be doing it here but he'd have been a good option first half of the season. -
They're winning games they should be drawing based on performances and drawing the games they should be losing. They're literally the opposite of us. It looks like it's working well for them this season but it won't be sustainable.
-
I meant our top players leaving, not PIF.
-
I think before the whole Isak farce I worried about the first bit, but I think they'd look to move if one of the bigger clubs come in regardless of how well we do now.
-
I really hope we give him a bit of a free-hit and let the transitioning squad adapt to us. We might not get where we expected this season but full faith in a freshness about us next season getting us back up there.

Burnley vs. Newcastle United: 30/12/25 @ 19:30 (Sky Sports)
Optimistic Nut replied to HaydnNUFC's topic in Football
This is massive. We should win but the way this season is going, Burnley will win 1-0 with Ramsdale or Pope ballsing up for the winner and Dubravka playing a blinder. -
Of course they would. All they've done that we haven't is to have a good CL run, and I think we're more likely to do that than finish top 6.
-
I don't think we're catching the top 6. Aim for "best of the rest" and last 8 of Champions League. Wouldn't be a bad return on paper.
-
Joelinton is the one we could sell and it'd pay for the left-back replacement, without touching the "purples".
-
Go big on a left-back, make Hall the first choice LCM.
-
Shame we're nowhere near being in the picture for this to be a good result for us.
-
He has a mistake in him but they have a bloody good keeper as well despite the stick he gets.
