Hated him at Boro, Hated him for England and didn't want him anywhere near us and bar a couple of games where we've played some decent stuff we've been on the whole awful.

Leicester went out and got Ranieri when they peddled Pearson, why didn't we go after someone like that??

And it tells, it may go wrong eventually but I bet the Leicester fans don't care. You could see today Leicester had an identity and knew what they had to do. We made it easy for them but when they had the ball they knew how to hurt us and played with confidence

Not one single person would have welcomed ranieri, and rightly so. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I wouldn't have wanted him anywhere near us tbh

Its madness to think that anyone would have wanted Ranieri here. He's doing way better than anyone expected, and needs to be applauded for that, but I do feel that the only top team Leicester have played is Arsenal, and they got beat pretty comprehensively

I had Leicester as absolute relegation certainties when they appointed Ranieri.

Same. Haven't got a clue who I'd go for at the moment if McClaren got sacked/walked (never gonna happen though).

McClaren clearly isn't getting good results so far, but he shouldn't be sacked for the following reasons.

- The squad is full of absolute shite players who don't complement each other in any way possible. Not in formation, style of play, literally nothing.

- The time he's had is not long enough to work with said shite bunch of players. Any ridiculous Klopp comparisons conveniently ignore the fact Liverpool clearly have very good players.

- We don't need the return of the 'circus' club appointing random insane people from the 90's.

- Lack of credible alternatives. Moyes' managerial career path is starting to look very similar to SMC anyway, and we sure as hell aren't attracting the likes of Ancelotti.

- We aren't yet adrift. The alarm bells are certainly ringing, but there are 4 sides in the league who are just as bad as us, if not worse.

Could not disagree more apart from the  opening sentence part... and which should finally read ' and he should be sacked immediately for the following reason. HE IS SHIT'

Steve Black's Mr Motivator mind techniques don't seem to be having as much results as Klopp's and Ranieiri's high intensity fitness approach. The defensive counter attack approach might work if we had defenders who could defend and some pace up front. This is a Frankenstein's monster of a football squad.

The thing that fucks me off the most was reading about his thoughts on Perez - how he "didn't know much about him and he's forced his way in".

A player who started a good number of Premier League matches last season.

So we went out and spent all our transfer budget on a player who wants to play number 10 and is stuck on the LW, swapped one crap winger for another and signed in fairness, a decent striker and defender.

Was it pot luck? One player for each position and that'll do? We now have a squad with at least four number 10s (Gini, De Jong, Perez, Sissoko) and what looks like no decent centre-mids and only one defender (Mbemba) who on current form isn't an absolute liability.

The squad is so unbalanced it's ridiculous.

Would it have been that hard to do your honework ffs? The spine of the time is laughable. It looks an almost impossible job seeing as so many players are phoning it in. But the manager no-one particularly wanted has done almost nothing to stop the rot so far.

If we were a proper club then McClaren should go, we're not a proper club and would just appoint more shite.  Sacking McClaren would be pointless as we wouldn't look to appoint the best person to replace him and we would just end up with more of the same.

the players are not good enough, sacking him would not solve the problems we have.

It would solve quite a few problems as he is a shockng manager
