Guest Roger Kint
I'm not sure what other clubs do, but surely having McClaren on the club's board is a massive conflict of interests. Its almost as though they have no intention of sacking him regardless.......
maze
We've gotta keep playing like that... Attitude fantastic... Couldn't do any more... Nobody could complain... Ah, fair enough m8, we sound canny. Carry on then. Alright, I can relate to that. Of course, yes. What a f***ing eye-opener. NO! NO! NOOO ! Steve McClaren It is about getting 3 points, you f***ing knob.... We were are never going to get 3 points today like. FYP. Otherwise agreed.
Belfast Boy
A lot of managers won't resign cos they wait for a pay off, as he's on the board can he not sack himself?
Mick
McClaren is going to take us down, he just can't inspire his players to win a game at the minute and I can't see that changing.
nufc4eva
In some ways it's a difficult one because we are a lot more solid than earlier in season but we can't score goals / win games. We are still too unbalanced and need to open teams up. He isn't helping picking 3-5-2 which rarely works and is not natural for us.
Darth Crooks
A lot of managers won't resign cos they wait for a pay off, as he's on the board can he not sack himself? I know that that was a joke but this on the board stuff is tiresome to hear. Him and concur are just stooges.
Karjala
Has to go after Tuesday night. Would predict a 0-0 draw between 2 teams who cant score, but we are bound to gift them at least 1.
Guest
There's many aspects he can improve upon, but there's been at least one sitter in each of the last 4 games and from different players (De Jong, Mitrovic, Wijnaldum and now Ayoze today) which have cost us points and at least a replay. Is this down to coaching?
AyeDubbleYoo
I don't know what I would do about him TBH, have no confidence in us being able to get a manager in the next week and get him enough new players to make a difference. Our best hope seems to be keep McClaren, give him three or so decent signings, and cross our fingers.
SUPERTOON
The fans chanting and reaction today was " very harsh" according to him.

Is this down to coaching? You would probably look at creating more than 1 clear chance a game though. It's costing us because we are not getting enough chances. Part of that is down to coaching, part is down to recruitment as he doesn't have a balanced team to pick. It would help having a couple of decent wingers (Why the fuck they bought Thauvin is beyond me). If they do keep him they just need to back him, let him pick his players and see where it goes. If it's then total shit then it's all down to him. I don't like him but he is picking up from a whole load of shit in our squad that have been coached badly for last few years. The problem we have is we need points quickly.
Kanj
he wants to see harsh? how about Stoke away last year...fans can get real fucking harsh.

Kanj
In the relegation zone and knocked out of both cups at the turn of the year. Tremendous stuff Farmer Faced c***. Completely safe though And I had to defend why I had a go at him in the match thread today. prior to the 1-0 loss today. you can't be fair with this club, they've f***ed us about a billion times and people want to be nice. You had to defend yourself because you were contradicting yourself You've really taken it to heart You're right, I didn't clearly retract what I was saying earlier, but anyway...I'm just frustrated dude - unsurprised we crashed out of the FA Cup again but always difficult to stomach losses, even though we've had a billion over the last few years. 'It's as though we're s*** and lose every week without even scoring a goal, I just can't understand it' Exactly, Talk is cheap Steve, quit telling us about effort and all that - we want to stop losing, and stop dropping out of Cups at the first doing. Disco
On the plus side less chance of a needless new 8 year deal for this total loser.
toontownman
They are hurting just the same as the fans and sick of it. Difference is you are paid to fucking do something about that. Classic empathizing with the aggrieved to get the heat off your back when you are the root cause.
Tsunami
I can't see him getting sacked and he'll not walk as he'll not get another job. He shouldn't have been offered the job and quite frankly he shouldn't have accepted it after saying no when we were in the shit last year. He didn't fancy it then and he's not shown anything to suggest he can turn things around. Any other club than us and it would be absolutely baffling. We need an inspirational manager and appointed the wally with the brolly. We could do with KK as he was 20 years ago.
Leazes_End_Mag
The fact that a man who used to hand out team sheets at reserve games not so long ago is now in control of recruitment and appointing managers sums up why we're in the mess we are. McClaren is toeing the NUFC line as he knows he wont be wanted anywhere else.
geordiesteve710
The fans chanting and reaction today was " very harsh" according to him. If the reaction was just based on today he'd maybe have a point. But it's not. The fans are sick of being shit game after game, year after year, sick of the club, Ashley, McClaren himself. He just doesn't get it. And he can fuck the fuck off with this "25 crosses" bullshit. Since when do you brag about putting in a cross every 3 and a half minutes? Ludicrous comment to make. mozy
The squad is generally absolute shite, but McClaren just hasn't been able to get anything out of them. It's a real shame, I had some hope at the start of this year.
