I'm not sure what other clubs do, but surely having McClaren on the club's board is a massive conflict of interests.

Its almost as though they have no intention of sacking him regardless.......

We've gotta keep playing like that... Attitude fantastic... Couldn't do any more... Nobody could complain...

Ah, fair enough m8, we sound canny. Carry on then.

Alright, I can relate to that. :snod: Of course, yes. What a f***ing eye-opener.

NO! NO! NOOO !  :director: Steve McClaren  It is about getting 3 points, you f***ing knob.... :laser:

We were are never going to get 3 points today like.

FYP. Otherwise agreed.

In some ways it's a difficult one because we are a lot more solid than earlier in season but we can't score goals / win games. We are still too unbalanced and need to open teams up.

He isn't helping picking 3-5-2 which rarely works and is not natural for us.

There's many aspects he can improve upon, but there's been at least one sitter in each of the last 4 games and from different players (De Jong, Mitrovic, Wijnaldum and now Ayoze today) which have cost us points and at least a replay. Is this down to coaching?

I don't know what I would do about him TBH, have no confidence in us being able to get a manager in the next week and get him enough new players to make a difference. Our best hope seems to be keep McClaren, give him three or so decent signings, and cross our fingers.

You would probably look at creating more than 1 clear chance a game though. It's costing us because we are not getting enough chances. Part of that is down to coaching, part is down to recruitment as he doesn't have a balanced team to pick. It would help having a couple of decent wingers (Why the fuck they bought Thauvin is beyond me). If they do keep him they just need to back him, let him pick his players and see where it goes. If it's then total shit then it's all down to him.

I don't like him but he is picking up from a whole load of shit in our squad that have been coached badly for last few years. The problem we have is we need points quickly.

In the relegation zone and knocked out of both cups at the turn of the year. Tremendous stuff Farmer Faced c***.

Completely safe though

And I had to defend why I had a go at him in the match thread today. prior to the 1-0 loss today. you can't be fair with this club, they've f***ed us about a billion times and people want to be nice.

You had to defend yourself because you were contradicting yourself

You've really taken it to heart

You're right, I didn't clearly retract what I was saying earlier, but anyway...I'm just frustrated dude -  unsurprised we crashed out of the FA Cup again but always difficult to stomach losses, even though we've had a billion over the last few years.

The fans chanting and reaction today was " very harsh" according to him.

'It's as though we're s*** and lose every week without even scoring a goal, I just can't understand it'

Exactly, Talk is cheap Steve, quit telling us about effort and all that - we want to stop losing, and stop dropping out of Cups at the first doing.

I can't see him getting sacked and he'll not walk as he'll not get another job. He shouldn't have been offered the job and quite frankly he shouldn't have accepted it after saying no when we were in the shit last year. He didn't fancy it then and he's not shown anything to suggest he can turn things around.

Any other club than us and it would be absolutely baffling. We need an inspirational manager and appointed the wally with the brolly. We could do with KK as he was 20 years ago.

The fact that a man who used to hand out team sheets at reserve games not so long ago is now in control of recruitment and appointing managers sums up why we're in the mess we are.

McClaren is toeing the NUFC line as he knows he wont be wanted anywhere else.

If the reaction was just based on today he'd maybe have a point. But it's not. The fans are sick of being shit game after game, year after year, sick of the club, Ashley, McClaren himself. He just doesn't get it. And he can fuck the fuck off with this "25 crosses" bullshit. Since when do you brag about putting in a cross every 3 and a half minutes? Ludicrous comment to make.
