Final hope for Zammo

 

A 1-0 victory by Italy over Hungary on Wednesday earned Fabio Zamblera & Co. a place in Sunday's final of the  European U19 Championship on Sunday

 

However, the Newcastle man was once again forced to watch proceedings from the bench as an unused sub.

 

The Italians will face Germany who beat the Czech Republic 2-1 in the other semi-final.

He got a run out in UEFA U19 Championship but he came on when it was 1-0 to Germany, the final score was 3-1 to the Germans.

It seems like a fair number of the U-19s in the tournament had a handful of senior appearances to their name.  Seeing as we hardly have any players anyway, it wouldn't hurt to give him a few games this season.  He can hardly be worse than Smith/Ameobi.
