Dave
Just got back from the match, we played some great stuff, especially in the 2nd half, Ranger came on as a late sub, scored with his first and only touch of the game!!!!!! Lua Lua almost scored the goal of season , picked the ball in the middle of Wigan's half skipped past 3 players, played it into Danquah who played a 1-2 with a back heel flick back to Kaz on the edge of the box skipped around 2 more defenders, went round the keeper but went slightly wide and his shot back across the rolled just wide of the far post. 2 mins later he smashed a low 25 yarder in with his left foot!! Can't wait for some of these players to come through, sounds like some of them could at the very least make some handy squad players.
Guest Heneage
20 goals? Impressive tbh. Yup. Sure is. Nothing to scoff at, at the very least. Good to see Frank Wiafe back playing. Wasn't he out for bloody ages? Wasn't that Baheng? Think he's still out Baheng did his cruciate and is still out. Frank was also out for a while and only came back in the last month or so. Baheng is back in light training.
La Parka
Ranger, Baheng, Lua Lua can hopefully step up. Baheng was quality prior to his crutiate injury.
Guest Taff
Still nothing doing for Smith Played infront of the back four apparently. Sign of things to come?
Dokko
http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10278~1552155,00.html Nile's Toon Tally Tips Twenty By Craig Hope NILE Ranger has now taken his Newcastle United goal tally to an impressive 20 strikes in what is still his maiden season on Tyneside. The 17-year-old Londoner capped a memorable night for the Magpies' Reserves as he slid home their final goal (above) during Monday's 5-0 mauling of Wigan Athletic at St.James' Park. The effort was Ranger's sixth for the second-string which, combined with his 14 at youth-team level, chalked up his 20th in black and white since joining the club during the summer. Indeed, such has been the striker's rapid progress that he has now made the first-team substitutes' bench on three occasions although he is yet to make his senior bow. Hope if we guarantee safety he gets a look in like
Ash
Great work from him to put Doninger through on goal last night. Did superbly well to lay it off for Vuckic to bury his shot too.

Was Donninger the number 4? He should have scored that chance. Ranger did well there.

hakka
If he is banging them in for the reserves/youth then I don't see why we can't throw him for last 5 mins in games. I think we play it too cautious with our youth, Lua Lua and Ranger should get some mins in the Premier League, even if a few.

I think we play it too cautious with our youth, Lua Lua and Ranger should get some mins in the Premier League, even if a few. Especially considering the players keeping them out of the first team are fucking garbage.
