Neil
Poll is a typical referee and I wouldn't be surprised if he'd never played the game at a decent level. He understands the rules, but not the game. Erm...
Mick
It's got to be rescinded.
NJS
The backing from Poll means there's absolutely no chance it will be rescinded.
ElDiablo
I see no way in which it can't, I mean, he got the ball. Clearly. There's no doubt there.

Neil
The backing from Poll means there's absolutely no chance it will be rescinded. hows that like? or are you just taking the piss? He's got a point. Rescinding it would make Poll look like a daft t**t. And sadly, this pathetic organisation that apparently runs football in this country, who are supposed to give fair judgements on things like this, will be scared and there's a good chance it won't be rescinded. Which would be pathetic.

NJS
The backing from Poll means there's absolutely no chance it will be rescinded. hows that like? or are you just taking the piss? It's a sign that the refs will stick together - they probably think Styles has had enough stick this season. Basically football was fucked when Gerrard dived over that outstretched leg a couple of years ago and they invented the thought crime of intending making a foul tackle. Poll: "It doesn't matter if you play the ball".
TRon
It's not going to be rescinded because because refs like Poll and Stiles are utter, utter cunts who will hide behind technicalities when it suits them. Anyway fuck off to the pair of them. Loved the way JK kept his cool and pointed out that without a clear line of sight there was no way in hell Stiles can have been in a position to make a clear-cut decision. Jamie
Surely it has to be. I'm not confident about it like
Liam Liam Liam O
If they want things like their 'Respect' campaign to work they should be rescinding it.

Mike
I honestly don't think it will be. I'd be shocked if it was.
Guest Edd
I hope so, bet it doesn't. If it was Gary Neville though.... If it was Gary Neville then ManU would have been given a penalty at the other end.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
As has been pointed out, the FA/PL whoever will be desperate to back their man. However I fully agree with LLLO's point. Spot on.
The Prophet
It was just a bad decisions on so many levels it was hard to believe. Beye got the ball we all know that, but pundits and referees a like seem to be buying into this ridiculous idea that any kind of contact in the box must result in a penalty, it's just getting beyond a joke. At the end of the day Styles couldn't wait to get his red card out, he didn't even stop to think about it. If he'd of taken a second or two he'd of realised the ball went in the direction of Beye's challange rather than Robinho's run. He may also of noted it probably wasn't a goal scoring oppertunity as Given was bearing down. If he was still unsure he could of gone and asked his linesman. This incident has just really shown how trigger happy referees and in particular Styles himself have become.
Spider Jerusalem
If they want things like their 'Respect' campaign to work they should be rescinding it. Bingo! If you want respect then you've got to earn it. Unfortunately Styles is so far up his own arse he'll be going home thinking of what a great match he's had and will never, ever change his mind on a decision he's made againt us. ChezGiven
The ball blatantly changed direction, even if only be a few degrees. Styles had a perfect view of the trajectory of the ball. Tbf, they had us up against the wall with our trousers round our ankles at the time, so the injustice of it probably worked in our favour ultimately. Nothing like an incensed SJP. Baggio
A bit daft attempting to tackle someone with quick feet like Robinho from behind in the box anyway tbh.

Nothing like an incensed SJP. the trajectory of the ball means little as beye (from styles view) could have touched it whilst taking the player out or slightly before. styles problem was that he was so sure.
