Ashley17
Why did he drop Chiriches, who has looked excellent? Kaboul is a good defender when fit but he's hardly played for a year
Mole_Toonfan
AVB's a nice guy but he's a little out of his depth here. If Spurs are still struggling come the end of the season then yeah but not in November, a lot can happen between now and May. Especially when there is 4 points between 2nd and 9th. Ronaldo
They just don't look like a threatening team going forward. Today he tried to remedy that and got it hugely wrong. AVB's had 16 months in English football now. Take away Gareth Bale getting him out of trouble ever week at the end of last season and he'd be long gone. Mole_Toonfan
Oh i agree completely i just wouldn't be surprised if they pick up form between now and May.
DubblyDubblyDubbly
Bringing on Adebayor, Dembele () and Sigurdsson hows the talent they have but he's clueless how to use his squad. The multi-million purchases have not adapted to the EPL. I said all last season they were a 1 man team and they flogged him. Surprised but
LRD
This season is always going to be a transition period for them considering the number of new players they brought in. Once they have adapted to this league they will be a force to be reckoned with. Their quality and quantity is immense.
Cajun
Think they are struggling up front. I rate Defoe but it still doesn't look good imo.

LRD
Why would it be a disaster if they don't get into the CL? They lost their star player and invested in a load of new players with little net spend. And they haven't been regularly qualifying for the CL like. The big sides are in a bit of chaos (other than Arsenal who'll find a way to screw up before long) and a lot more vulnerable than they have been in a long time. They are never going to challenge for the top 4 without a settled side and the players still adapting to the league and to each other. I think too much has been made of this season being their season. Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea had managerial changes but their players had played together for seasons and formed a good understanding. Spurs are regularly changing their lineups and AVB hasn't settled on his best side yet.

BillClinton
It's just their turn to go through a "crisis", they'll be fine. It was only a few weeks ago that they were having their best ever start in the Premier League. There is still almost no difference between the top 6 clubs. Cajun
I'd love to be in Spurs position tbh. Don't see how anybody who supports us can laugh at them. Quite a few were talking them up as title contenders and they had signed some quality attacking players on top of what they already had. They have only scored more than the two worst teams in the league. Is it really that hard to see how some might laugh?
The College Dropout
Watched a fair bit of them. Looked very strong, powerful and organised. Going forward? Speculative. Don't look like the attacking players know how to play together. The only one who seems to have settled into a role is Paulinho and his finishing is suspect. The players they've signed are all pretty young, plus it's basically a whole new team. How they look after a year together will be the real test of how good they're going to be.
