madras
Neil Warnock on MOTD2. "He's (Ameobi) got better feet than Carroll." on his day maybe but not consistently for about 20secs on his day.
Ronaldo
Put Carroll's feet in a vice and there's some truth to that statement.
James
I'd say Shola's first touch is pretty good, it is his second touch which is the frustration. When he doesn't have to think he is a good instinctive footballer. However a mental block gives him the tendency to cock up easy things a lot after he has done all the tricky stuff. Ishmael
Reckon there is some truth in that. Just that Ameobi's good/excellent touches are so ridiculously sporadic and separated by 10/20 clumsy stumbles, which you may interpret as dribbling. Carroll's touch is just average. Does fuck up now and then in rather Sunday league like ways, mind.
Thespence
Neil Warnock on MOTD2. "He's (Ameobi) got better feet than Carroll." Didn't realise Warnock was a Podiatrist.

Guest Heneage
He brought it down beautifully today before he fluffed the pass to Lovenkrands. The Carroll situation is an unfortunate one. He'll be missed against West Ham no doubt but Stevenage for me is just a repeat of Accrington in the CC, we'll field a mix of youngsters and fringe players and look to get a result. Sunderland is a really big one and I'd love to have him back but not at the risk of further injury.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
So did Carroll really have a "late fitness test" today or was that just 'Sky Sports News' bullshit? I can't imagine him having a late fitness test, failing it and then being ruled out for a week.
Winn
MOTD2 have just said Strolla has been technique and feet than Carroll and basiclly that hes a better player...
Ishmael
... and we have already dismissed them.

Lets just hope both teams are near enough full strength then neither set of supporters can use excuses post match.

Guest Haris Vuckic
Lets hope he's fully fit. He tore them apart last time, just a shame he couldn't score!
Colocho
Let's hope this ''injury'' has nothing to do with a potential transfer.
Carlito
That's what I was thinking, especially with him missing the cup game.
Foluwashola
Perhaps Pardew should set Steve Stone on him with a crowbar so he'll fail any potential medical.
Tooj
As long as Shola's fit against the Mackems we'll be fine.
