Crumpy Gunt
I doubt Carroll will see much action in January. 2 games is the bluff.
Decky
Fuck sake, 2 extremely important games and we lose Carroll. Couldnt make it up man. Serves us right if we lose them though. We should have signed a new striker in the summer, it was as clear as day that we needed at least another good forward.
MidfieldGeneral
Probably already been mentioned but if he was a doubt going into the City and Spurs games why wasn't he rested for them ? Surely we had more chance of picking up points against Wigan and West Ham with him in the team rather than risking him twice in 2 days against 2 of the top 5 ffs. Wondered this myself, particularly the Spurs game. He was really struggling against City.
ChrisMcQuillan
Bad management, simply, if that's the case. PR more important than points.

Guest toonlass
I just hope he's back for the mackem game. I don't even want to think about what that game will be like without him.

At least we'd have Shola for the Mackem game, seriously though, he always scores against them. He is guaranteed to at least tuck away a penalty. Anderson
Fuck! Didn't realise the mackems was only a fortnight away, that's creeping up very quick.
Guest SuperShola!
I like how it's "Andy Carroll possibly couldn't be injured...he must be being sold" And I get called for being negative. He's not getting sold ffs He's staying, you bunch of sadistic cunts.
Fenham Mag
Btw, on the subject of the mackems match, funny how the attacks on Carrolls property and threats dried up after we beat the mackems 5-1, wonder if they'll start again.

Dave
"Andy has a thigh injury, which is being assessed," said Pardew. "He has travelled down to London with the doctor to see just how serious, or not serious, it is. It could be serious but we're all a bit in the dark at this stage. "You are talking about one of the best young players in the country, who has had a fantastic first half of the season. We don't want him to be missing for too long, that's for sure." Shola Ameobi, who has recovered from a hamstring injury, will replace Carroll at Wigan on Sunday. "Can Newcastle score without Andy Carroll? Yes, I think so," said Pardew. "We have enough in the group to suggest we can. Hopefully, he will not be out for too long."
Frazzle
Carroll looked knackered against Man City and should have been dragged off. If we're relying on him to say when he's injured he'll never come off.

Frazzle
Man City he was holding his leg, dunno if its the same injury though.

Yeah, the City one didn't look like the thigh injury that's ruled him out of Wigan. He seemed to run that one off eventually but when you put all your eggs in one basket...
