Guest Ridzuan
Can someone tell me what I should do with my newcastle jersey with his name printed on the back?? I had it with printing player's name on the back, you never know when they will leave the club. What a waste of money that Ive invested in.

Give it to the charity shops, they send them over to Africa. Anything but the charity. For the amount of money Ive paid to get the jersey, giving it to the charity is doing myself a great injustice. Don't try and burn it, that'll never work. And nah, dont think Im going to burn it. The club crest is still on the jersey afterall. Ive got to show some respect. Is tehre anyway u think i can get rid of his name??

BlufPurdi
Reading the italian papers today. They call it the "strangest" transfer of the window. 35mil on a player who has scored so few goals, is currently injured, made only 1 token appearance for the national side, and is more well known for his actions off the pitch. Interesting outsider perspective. It's the same up here, they think it's total madness. I can't say I disagree in the slightest.

biggs
Apologies if this has already been posted but a couple of snippets of L.F.C website from Carrolls interview makes interesting reading How did you feel when you first heard of Liverpool's interest? I was a bit surprised and didn't really know what was going on at the time. When I knew it was real and that there was a chance for me to come here I knew it was a great opportunity and I had to take it. Nolan We know you're close friends with Kevin Nolan who is a big Liverpool fan - what has he said to you about this club? I have spoken to him. He is over the moon, really delighted for me. He said it's a big chance for me to go out there and show what I can do with Liverpool, and that's what I'm going to do. What jumps out for me is the knowing of the bid and wanting to go hence the transfer request so was he pushed Full page interview here http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/carroll-the-first-interview
Robster
I'm going to choose to point the finger of blame at Carroll's agent. He should be advising him better and telling him to be patient, take his time, and to give the club the chance to renegotiate the contract in the summer. I fear that a young and naive Carroll has been pushed into the deal by his agent who saw the £££'s.
Guest Loven11
I was more gutted when Shearer retired, Sir Bobby was sacked, Hughton sacked and of course when we were relegated but we bounced back from that and we will from this. I wouldn't have wanted us to pay over the top on deadline day just for the sake of it or to sign a player who wasn't good enough for us. We have got time now to identify some good players and hopefully the right players for us to sign in the summer instead of just rushing into it and signing players who aren't good enough for us. Fingers crossed.
