relámpago blanco
Watched the NUFCTV training session. RTaylor looks sharp. JK said he will probably start along with Oba should he not have any reaction from the training session With Oba I think we stand a good chance of winning, without him I expect us to draw at best. Guest Darth Toon
OK, I think we'll go: Harper S Taylor - Coloccini - Bassong - Enrique R Taylor - Nolan - Butt - Duff Ameobi - Martins Subs: Krul, Edgar, Geremi, Smith, Viduka, Carroll, Lovenkrands Half-decent looking bench for the first time in a while... AyeDubbleYoo
I'd be tempted to give Lovenkrands a go on the left if he's fit enough.
beardsleymagic
Has a manager ever been so universally loathed by his own fans? Not even in the top ten. And as for us, I think he is a joke - don't get me wrong - but there is just not the same amount of personal distaste there was for Souness and the Dyceman. Maybe it's just me but I never hated those two as much as I hate Kinnear. Then again, I don't think I've ever hated any public personality as much as I hate Kinnear. I don't hate JFK, I just think the man is completely out of his depth in so many ways.

Dan Gleebals
harper saylor colo bass jose raylor butt nolan duff oba shola That is not a relegation team IMO. Come on lads, 3 points this weekend really would be a massive boost for everyone. Oba, Viduka and Smith back in the squad is a massive boost as well.. TRon
If Oba starts we have every chance of of winning this. We really need the midfield to fire for this one. Without Jonas alot will be expected from the three midfielders who will support the attack, Lovenkrands/Ryan, Nolan and Duff. If they deliver we will win. Skirge
Its a good sign that for this game unlike for many others the team does not pick itself.

Ashley17
Its a good sign that for this game unlike for many others the team does not pick itself. I'm not sure it is. The less decisions Kinnear has to make the better. Having said that it's undoubtedly better to have Martins, Viduka and Shola to pick from up front, even if he will pick Smith
Dan Gleebals
Its a good sign that for this game unlike for many others the team does not pick itself. Mowen
I'm not going to say it as I'm never right, but I feel the same way about this game as I usually do.

Aye, but you have to worry that the fucker picking the team might not be such a good sign!!! Ye, I will be interested to see who plays on the wings. Duff & Taylor I would imagine (if Colo is fit), otherwise Geremi may get a run at RM
Mowen
We use more time complaining over Kinnear then spending time creating positive energy for the team (Toon fans anno 2009), just be glad that he chooses to stay along because there is not many coaches that would do the same (Keegan). Imagine if Kinnear leaves, who do you think would replace him? Back to reality people, back to reality as fast as you can.

Guest Brummiemag
Anyone know if this game is in doubt do to the snow in the midlands? All the main roads down here are clear and I understand WBA have undersoil heating so there shouldnt be a problem. However after seeing the laughable, over the top reaction to a few of inches of snow earlier in the week, nothing would surprise me!
