oldtype
What a fucking shame. He's a hero now in my book. Everything he's done this season capped off with that earns him a good place in my memories regardless of how shit he is.
M4
He looked devastated, the way he had his head in his hands... he'd been given some bad news no doubt
NG32
Been good for us this season, gutted for him.
M4
Sky commentators saying it was just unlucky and not a bad challenge. Don't think I agree. Yes, it went really quickly but he threw himself with both legs into Raylor as opposed to into the ball or in front of it to block it. Edit: Ok, not both feet. Dave
Going for an x-ray, early hopes that it's just bruising rather than a break. Hope so.

If the situation was reversed i'd be upset if our defender didn't throw himself at the ball the Warnock did. No blame, for me.
thenige
They said he'd bruised the bone so hopefully won't be too serious. Fair play for not bottling the challenge.
Dokko
They said he'd bruised the bone so hopefully won't be too serious. Fair play for not bottling the challenge. Great news, painful aye but not season ending. Well done Taylor.

alpal78
I used to despise him especially when he was getting raped all over the place at LB, but I do think he is important to us now at least to provide some cover to our already thin squad. I hope he recovers soon (a few weeks, not months of even worse season over injury) even if it means that there will be times Pardew will play him ahead of HBA. toontownman
Fully committed performance, hope he recovers soon. Was skeptical by his starting birth but think it was the correct decision.
TRon
Whatever you think of his football ability there's no knocking his attitude. He's been important this season so hopefully he'll make a speedy recovery.
Sifu
Hopefully it is only bruising and not a broken leg. In any case, get well soon Ryan! Decent contribution before he had to go off - he played a key role in Ba's goal.
Dave
We were better with Obertan on the pitch btw, certainly second half anyway.
Willow
I think this guy gets a lot of unfair comments, hope he's alright, he's a very useful player for us.

Jayson
His 4th assist in more or less his last 6 games. We've won each game. You gotta give it to him, he knows how to be involved & get into the right areas.
AyeDubbleYoo
Hope he's alright, injured being very brave and setting up a goal. I would personally play either Obertan or HBA, but Raylor's a valuable squad member either way.
TRon
We were better with Obertan on the pitch btw, certainly second half anyway. The starting line up had two right backs in midfield so the change was always going to give us more balance, forced or not.

Guest ObiChrisKenobi
Look how far we've come this season when we're relieved and happy Ryan Taylor is OK. I know we're not a nasty lot and we don't truly hope any of our players get injured, but can imagine another time and place where many would be looking at this and thinking 'get in - Ben Arfa can play!'. Glad he's OK, he's had a good season and worked hard. Not sure an Obertan or Ben Arfa would have went in for that rebound as bravely.
