stozo
Only just realised that the number of players we now have out on loan has creeped up to 7. Let's hope a few more go out in the next few weeks.
Zach
Ferguson and Campbell going out on loan would be good.

Thought he was home with the first team.

ujpest doza
This is my mates match report from last night at Palace. Mine was pretty good..... Turned up late, ticket office closed, turnstiles closed, stewards wouldn't let us in..... Wandered around, saw 2 blokes having a chat by the reception, asked if there was any way of getting in, bloke turned round & said "yes sir, no problem, ask that guy there & he'll let you in.... Tell him I'll be back in 5 minutes" Straight away I saw it was "Mad-Dog" Martin Allen, doing some scouting in his Gillingham jacket. Ushered through to the Directors Box & a nice comfy seat! £8 off my Moscow visa bill!! Not very tall, but still looks fit enough to play & sort a few out... Of our lads, Campbell is miles ahead in terms of quality & brain. You just worry about his height. I wandered down to the 'tunnel' area in the corner at the end and he really is a midget. Gosling looked distinctly average, but must be rusty - you hope anyways. Tavernier was poor, Ferguson didn't stand out, Amalfitano has a nice touch but won't play top level. Didn't see enough of Streete to really comment. Aarons took his goal really well, but generally didn't look too hot, but is younger than the rest. Liked the look of Miele in midfield tho. Neat, tidy player... A bit like Inman. Mitchell in goal is a shot stopper, but he can't kick a football. Encouraging to see us play a similar formation to the first team at least, but whether that was a one-off I don't know. But generally, Palace are better than us, more organised than us, more professional than we are & their lads all looked up for it. Some great Croydon names on the team sheet, but you can see why they bring through a steady stream of talent. You think Moses, Zaha & Clyne is 20m from the same youth team & they have endless supplies of local lads coming through. And they all look & move like footballers.... Unlike our full international deputy left back & French winger.
Ishmael
Gosling looked distinctly average, but must be rusty ... is what he's been telling Pardew for the last 2 years. He'll shake it off never.
aussiemag
I think Gosling is done .. Can't see him ever being a premiership footballer. My opinion of course. He's slow, not a fantastic passer, not great at tackling. Just poor all round.
aussiemag
Centre Mid: Cabaye, Sissoko, Tiote, Anita, Marveaux, Bigirimama, Perch, Jonas ... That's 8 players ahead of Gosling.
Cajun
Nice to see some consistency when it comes to our keepers kicking
colinmk
Gosling really should have had first-team football by now somewhere, you have to wonder why he hasn't even had a loan anywhere.
nufc4eva
Never looked capable when I have seen him, just looks sluggish and seems to always be injured. We should probably just try to sell him now tbh as I can't see him playing instead of our other midfielders including Bigi - in fact Abeid will probably be ahead of him when he comes back
LRD
He'll most likely go this summer since his contract ends summer 2014 and I can't see him extending that even if the club offers to. There's too much competition in front of him and he knows he hasn't impressed one bit.

Scoreboard82
Good luck to Newton and dummet in the Scottish league cup final with St Mirren tomorrow. Come on the saints. Hope they come away with winners medals.

Hope they come away with winners medals. Both starting. Silly St Mirren, starting with Newcastle players in a final, that'll never work.

Stu
Both in the starting XI, Dummet unlucky to see opening goal deflected in off him. St Mirren scored next three goals, Newton blasting home the third from just inside the area. Hearts grab a consolation with about 5mins left. nice to see our loanees have an impact
