Disgusting how it's been handled but glad it's being dealt with now. Mental to think with all the abuse allegations in football over the last couple of years our club hasn't reviewed it's operation.

Then from a mercenary level the staggering lack of output alone should have led to someone wondering what the little troll was up to.

Our academy should be the jewel in the crown and a major priority for any new owners.

After discussions with Peter Beardsley this morning it has been agreed that he will take a period of leave (with full pay), to commence immediately, whilst the club conducts its investigation into allegations made against him (and works out how this wasn't his fault so we can let him keep his job). Doesnt sound like he's been sacked, more put on gardening leave

Guess they can't sack him yet until they have the full statements from the players involved, which is gonna happen this week.

After that, he may get the spanish archer.

Shame he's (allegedly) a massive cunt, I loved him as a player.

Didn't help himself with the Ashley backing, but then again we all have wrong opinions from time to time.

Nice coverup there, buddy. N-O will #NeverForget your "wrong opinions".

Statement from Beardsley's solicitors:

“Peter Beardsley is aware of inaccurate media reports which result from unauthorised leaks.

“Allegations of unfair treatment have been made, which are currently being investigated. Peter Beardsley categorically denies the allegations. It is hoped the investigation will conclude quickly.

“Peter Beardsley will not be making any further comment at the present time and until investigations conclude. Peter respectfully request that his privacy and that of his family is respected.”

Say Beardsley gets off with it and returns to his role, what then? Because he sure as hell ain’t going to want to work with all these people throwing allegations at him.

Guessing they'll (the players) leave or ask to move on, much like the others did who lost in allegations against him (and Kenny Wharton) back in 2003.

James Beaumont, Ross Gardner both joined Forest, and Neale McDermott joined Fulham.... all in 2003.
