Guest shearer_united
I fear that if the club gets relegated, it won't even survive in the top half table in the championship. I fear the whole team will dissolve, which it probably will if it does.
merlin
Unfortunately, it looks as if the club is likely to get the worst option - relegation AND Kinnear on an extended contract - long, happy years beckon......

Fatwax
I prefer the Chat section to the forum now-a-days. Not particularly because of this thread, but because this is the kind of stuff being posted all the time. This club is just depressing.

TRon
This is Newcastle United. How can any self-respecting fan even consider this MASSIVE club being relegated being a good thing? Are you fucking insane?
BONTEMPI
Should be a 3rd option. We go down and Kinnear is still here. Either way the outlook is fucking bleak for many years ahead unless someone tempts the fat twat upstairs with some moola

Guest Phil K
I refuse to vote on such a daft "no win" scenario. And Kinnear OR relegation ? We're gonna get both.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Kinnear anyday. What a silly question. We'll be in far more shit if we go down.
Doug
This is Newcastle United. How can any self-respecting fan even consider this MASSIVE club being relegated being a good thing? Are you f***ing insane? dead right.
AyeDubbleYoo
Mental thread, anyone who would choose relegation is clinically insane. Ironically going down will probably increase the chances of Kinnear staying on.
jimmymag
What a pathetic question! And some cretins actually prefer relegation!
Dan Gleebals
Either way he will get a three year contract. Staying up is essential, we can oust him after that. If we stay up he will be considered a hero by our incompetent board. That is just how far we have fallen.
Lenny
It's a bit like someone holding a gun to your head and forcing you to say something you really dont want to say... Kinnear on a 3 year deal it is...
thomas
is it easier to come back up or is it easier to get out of a contract with JFK. No contest.

Guest ObaStar
This is the dumbest thing i have ever read. you are saying that if we stay with JK we will probably be relegated in the next few years. that is your reasoning behind wanting to sack him. However the other alternative you are offering is certain relegation. So you are asking us would we prefer certain relegation or possible (unlikely in my view) relegation? How idiotic can you be? Kimbo
I'd rather have Kinnear in the premiership than Kinnear in the championship. What a choice.
TRon
I am not looking beyond the next 9 games at the moment. He's a shit manager but I'm still hoping that his return to the dugout might just lift the players and get us one or two crucial wins in the nick of time. He's no tactician but the players are fond of him. I would think the fans will rally behind him as well for the last few games. Call him what you will but no one will ever be able to say he's a quitter.
