BONTEMPI
I think he was a good player whilst he was here and with that pace he'll be a thorn in any championship side
LoveItIfWeBeatU
It's a bit strange no club from the middle to lower end of the Premiership haven't gone for him.
Guest Phil K
It is odd that he's being frozen out. As if there were some other reason to his wage demands or ability
Chrisjraby
Peter Lovenkrands has turned down the offer of a contract from a Spanish side, reported to be Villarreal. The Danish winger is currently without a club after seeing a short-term deal at Newcastle reach its conclusion at the end of last season. With the new season now under way, Lovenkrands is keen to find employment as quickly as possible. He is, however, reluctant to uproot his family, who have settled in England. With that in mind, the 29-year-old is hoping to secure a move to a British side. "That is correct, I have turned down a Spanish club," Lovenkrands said in Ekstra Bladet. "Out of consideration to my two children, I would like to remain in Great Britain." Lovenkrands has refused to rule out a return to Newcastle, having admitted that he would be willing to join the Magpies despite their relegation to the Championship last term. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11827_5512922,00.html
