That's the impression he made and I think a club can't have enough players like this. Shame that he just can't keep up with the quality that is needed on the pitch. Newcastle Fan Posted May 6, 2012 Share Posted May 6, 2012 Always enjoyed the fact that we got him on free and he did far more than anyone expected, if only Williamson had left the ball for him in the last minute of the Derby he could've carved his name in NUFC history, still i always liked him and he was crucial in getting us back to the Premier league, Best of luck to him. I would guess that if he does get over this current injury, he'll sign for someone like Bristol, play a few games, get injured again and retire. Having said that, he's not as old as I thought. I don't think I've celebrated a goal like I did his against WBA in the Championship. Hope he finds a club at Championship level because he'll tear it up.
