Llambias claimed last night the Profitable Group’s interest in United was “total rubbish” but our source, said: “We’re working with Seymour Pierce and in discussions with the people that Mike Ashley has appointed to sell his club.

“We don’t expect to be dealing with the managing director too much.”

This really IS too good to be true.

Would have been better if they'd said they were dealing with the organ grinder, not the monkey

Five groups are showing interests. But I'm afraid it will end up with nothing. :undecided:

Just spoken to someone who works at the club and its not good.

They will not appoint a manager until the week preceeding the first match of the season unless the club is sold

Most people have cleared their desks at the club and no-one knows if they will return

They reckon any decent bids for players will be accepted.

Half the stadium will be closed come our first home game

No planning of any kind is being undertaken, media/sponsrship deals already present will continue but no work is being done to generate revenue.

I think the Omani was someone putting 2 + 2 together, this Profitable Group are clearly a bunch of bluffers and I'd rather drink my own piss everyday than endure a return to the 'good old days' of Freddie reigning over us.

Leaves the Africans and the Ham Shanks.

FML.

Sorry, they're saying that they're in negotations to buy the club... but the owner doesn't know anything about it?

Ashley might know about it, it was Llambias who reckons he's heard nowt. Maybe he's being cut out of the loop.

That must be from the book "How to not get £100m for the sale of your football club". We'd inevitably face a relegation fight to League 1. Ashley or Llambias wouldn't dare come within 5 miles of SJP for fear of a backlash. The way those two fuckers operate there'd be more chance of them sitting in the Director's Box at the Stade de Plop in red and white scarves.

Sounds about the most accurate news from the club in months...!

I'll bet Ashley won't be showing his face around town in the near future. The fat bastard will get his face caved in.
