I'm no Chelsea fan but I would love to see how Mourinho would use Rooney in his team, I reckon he will be a 25 goal a season striker if he ever goes there

Should only be picking players on form, which would include Walcott. Just shown why he deserves to be chosen.

Has Welbeck actually done a thing in this game!!?!?

 

Problem is we lack options especially upfront.... I get Welbeck isn't all that but the alternatives are also mostly bang average.

 

Tbh, I'd be picking Rickie Lambert ahead of Welbeck.

Given he's playing wide left forward that'd be a brave move.

Quite frankly and been thinking about this for a while, but i reckon leaving Man U would be the best thing Rooney could do.

 

Clearly needs a fresh outlook on his career.

 

He needs to leave, but it could certainly go South as well. He could find himself at Chelsea, making obscene money and just dicking around for 5 years. Wouldn't shock me at all.

If it helps him miss out on Shearer's record then it's good.

Over the last 5 seasons his average is over 25.
