Just seen this. Have to say, I'm sick of this season already. Five games in and we look largely unfit and worryingly disinterested (HBA aside), not having turned in a single good performance. That's considering we've played three games against highly mediocre opposition. We diced with danger with a pathetic transfer window and it's not even mid September and we've had injuries to Krul, Colo, Simpson, Perch and Raylor. Fat Mike getting exactly what he deserves. Hope everyone enjoys the Euro trips this year because it'll be our last chance for a while.

If we get bummed at Everton, which I think we will, there will be more than a few questions to answer.

Biggest over reaction of the year so far.

What have I said that's at all dubious?

Unfit- definitely.

Disinterested- we don't look at all motivated.

No good performances- Spurs was okay but we were lucky to win.

Crap opposition- without question, the Greeks and Villa are dreadful sides.

Pathetic transfer window- of course it was.

Injuries- fact.

Likely defeat at Everton- very.

And all of it appropriate in a thread about Tim Krul.

Considering the Cisse thread descended into what is hookah/shisha, all bets are now off.

All of what he said is either fact or entirely justified imo.

We've only played three games. Although we had a great season last year you have to remember where we were before then. We need to keep our feet on the ground. Some fans aren't going to be happy unless we're in the top 6 again, which is going to be a massive ask.

We've beat a Spurs side that finished 4th last season, a weakened side got through against the Greeks and we weren't great against Villa. I'm no happy clapper but for it being so early in the season there's massive over reactions kicking about. We don't even know the extent of Kruls injury.

This start has been dreadful, not quite a disaster, but one win against spurs from being so.

Yep, and if we are honest we were fortunate to win the game.
