I haven't counted, but I'd wager in 4 and a half seasons (so maybe 200ish games in all comps) we've probably given away about 40-50 pens, the vast majority of which Krul will have faced. Pilko Posted February 22, 2015 Share Posted February 22, 2015 I've just done a quick count and in the league since 2010/11 we've conceded 25 in the league, and off the top of my head I can recall about 4 or 5 in other comps. I was a bit over in that prediction but I think I may be skewing it by thinking of the relegation season where we conceded about 10 or 11 in the league. I'm not absolving Abeid of the blame at all, it was a completely moronic thing to do but what I gathered from your first statement was that none of the blame can go on Krul which I disagree with, he should still just be able to put his foot through the ball and get it clear. Krul though, being a Premiership footballer, should be able to put any foot through a ball in those situations. Defenders do it week in week out across the league.
