Unbelievable Posted August 31, 2017 Share Posted August 31, 2017 Krul has severely benefitted from the bizarre correlation where the longer a player stays out of the team by injury, the better some fans think they are. He was absolutely garbage for a year and a half before the injury, he was garbage when he went out on loan, nobody has wanted him. He was declining undeniably, but it's hard to argue the replacements have done a much better job. All our GK options are garbage really, and we may well pay the price big time this season. Howay man, UB. We almost survived the season we went down with Blob in goal and 2/3 of a season with McClaren at the helm.
