The score is going to make Bradley think we played the right way. If we would've opened up all game we could've scored another one, maybe even two.

 

Yes and I'm not so sure. As proud as I am of the results against Egypt and Spain, I feel the success at the Confederations Cup masked over some real problems with Bradley's tactics and squad selection. Really dreadful to watch. Would've liked to see more of Torres and Edu instead of a half of each.

How to we go from a top tier match against Paraguay to a bunch of reserves playing a middle tier African side. We played Utaka upfront for God's sake. Not even John Utaka at Pompey, but his even more rubbish younger brother who plays in bloody Sweden! If I knew they were trying out randoms, I would have flown over and played centreback.

Just read Jonas started for Argentina against Germany.

 

He played the full match and did well.

Helped out many times at right back but was also right wing, left wing and centre. He was simply everywhere!  Even Phillip Lahm of Germany sometimes couldn't really stop him without a foul.

It's unfair of me to criticise him directly I guess. I don't watch the Danish league much. Really, I'm more angry at the fact that unless five or six players get injured, he has no chance of making the World Cup. This is the last friendly before World Cup camp commences. Why are we playing sub standard opposition, and putting out a team of players that will most likely not be headed to South Africa. The WC is in three months!
