Excuses, excuses. If xisco came up to you and told you he hated us and never gave a shit about anything but the money you would still blame someone else

Well it's not his fault he hates us, he was messed about here...  :fishing:

Hughton hopeful on Xisco

Newcastle manager Chris Hughton is hoping Xisco can secure a permanent deal with Racing Santander.

The Magpies misfit has spent the season on loan at Racing in the Primera Division, netting three goals in 23 appearances.

But he is a Newcastle player once more following the end of the Liga campaign and although Hughton insists the door is not shut for the striker, he admits a transfer may be agreed.

"He's our player again now because the Spanish season has finished but Xisco has shown his desire to go back to Spain on a permanent basis," he told the Newcastle Journal.

"I think he'd like to stay (at Racing Santander) and I think that is understandable because it hasn't really worked for him here.

"It is something we will now have to work on. We've not heard anything from Racing Santander yet about whether they want to keep him, but we obviously have to look for a solution now and we'll be contacting them.

"We will talk to Xisco and Racing Santander and look at the options that we have but if nothing is sorted out, then he will return to us for pre-season.

"We intend to do everything right and we will expect him back if for whatever reason a deal doesn't go through."

Xisco was signed above Kevin Keegan's head in a £5.7million move that helped prompt the former manager's exit, and has played just seven times for Newcastle, scoring once.

I think we're all hopeful too....

"I even stopped playing in the last few days to force my exit.”

s*** attitude, not good enough. End of argument.

This.  A guy like that can be like cancer to a team.  Once a quitter, always a quitter.

Not the Keegan argument again.

I'm not Keegan so it's not his argument.  It's pretty simple, if you don't have enough pride to do your job well, despite the circumstances, then you have to go someplace else.  If you quit or dog in front of your teammates and you know and they know it how is anyone gonna know if you're going to do it again?  I'm all for second, thrid and fourth chances even but when you just quit because you aren't getting your way, it's a hard habit to break and it effects everyone else around you.  Better to move on

It's nowt short of a disgrace if we sell him for peanuts and keep Leon Best.

Not really, he's a cunt of the highest order and there won't be anyone daft enough to pay good money for him. Selling him for peanuts would at least get the fucker away from our training ground and free up some wages.

One comment in the paper that was probably made up by Brian Mcmackem makes him a cunt?

I'd rather have him at the club than someone who won't be able to contribute in any way at all.

I'd rather have neither of them at the club and spend whatever money we do get for the pair of them on a player to replace them.

I'm struggling to decide between Best and Xisco if we were going to keep one. It's someone who has a potential attitude problem and has little experience with the English game, against someone who I think it fucking woeful.

Can you imagine if he can't get a move elsewhere and, off the bench against Man United on the opening day, he scores the only goal in a 1-0 win and continues the season in a similar vein, silencing all his critics and topping the goalscoring charts, meaning we didn't have to go searching for a new striker.

No, me neither.

What on earth suggests that Xisco will contribute in any way at all?

Ask Santander fans what they think of him.

Not really, we want him out and he isn't worth anything.

Yeah, but what about Xisco?
