Pre-season specialist Haris Vučkić joins FC Twente

What's the point of loaning him out again? Just sell him and move on.

He'll be on bigger wages here than he would get anywhere else so probably quite hard to shift him.

Can only imagine what brainless moron put a player of his caliber on wages that couldn't even be paid by a Sunday league club.

He was very highly rated as a youngster and the likes of Real Madrid were interested in him. If you watch him play he's clearly talented as fuck but doesn't have the body to play the game at a very high level. Injuries have taken their toll as well.

two-and-a-half years off a testimonial?

Jesus. Forgot he's from all the way back when we were hoovering up prospects in our scatter gun approach with the likes of Fabio Zamblera and Ben Tozer. Has Vuckic actually ended up the most successful of that era of youth prospects?

Give him the testimonial, I say. It'll be a laugh if nothing else. A host of former NUFC reserves V a Rangers XI.

I really want to see him in the first team.  He's been here a million years, has played international football and is / was quite highly rated.  He can't be that bad, surely.

That double ligament injury to his knee ruined him. He had a really good pre-season the year we were in the Europa League and if that hadn't have happened I think he could have got the games he needed to make it. I always had a bit of a soft spot for him because he had obvious talent. Since his injury he just looks too slow and cumbersome for the position he plays. Shame.

Was looking at their scorers to see where he sat with his single goal in the grand scheme of things, and found this nugget of a player name with 2 goals - Jordy Hiwula-Mayifuila. What a name
