Village Idiot
Got massively drunk last night, and spotted a lad in an NUFC shirt with some friends in the streets of Barcelona. For some reason I raised my fist and shouted "f*** the Mackems" at him. Suppose it wasn't anybody from here?

Jack Flash
The 606 podcast is accidentally fantastic. Two different callers claimed Rooney is past it and someone said England would "get Pardew'd" against Germany in the semi finals

ElDiablo
Watford striker Troy Deeney sentenced to 10 months in prison. Affray. Ouch, had a good second half of the season for them too.
ponsaelius
South America XI vs Europe XI? Casillas Lahm Kompany Pique Cole Schweinsteiger Xavi Iniesta Cronaldo Ibra RvP J. Cesar D. Alves T. Silva Colo Marcelo Vidal Mascherano Suarez Messi Neymar Aguero Too many forwards available for SA. Had to leave out Cavani, Higgy, Falcao, Sanchez etc. Europe would win thanks to the midfield. Mole_Toonfan
Probably right about having the midfield advantage but South American has so much firepower not just upfront either.... the 2 fullbacks are this generations Cafu and Carlos. It's all fantasy of course but if the South American team pressed and broke with a lot of speed i could see them winning. There's too much firepower and creativity there to be able to keep quiet. Tiresias
think south american strike force would all get in each others way oddly, too many dribbly runs, whereas thin European one may be balanced. Oh well would be a silly game.
