Hughesy
I suppose it just shows how limited we are likely to be financially unless we either increase our match day revenue or our commercial revenue. Hence why they decided the naming rights for SJP were crucial.
toon25
How do our ticket prices compare with the likes of Spurs? Are they fairly similar?
Village Idiot
Always hear that Spurs ticket prices are quite insane. But a lot of the difference is probably due to corporate boxes and similar.
Hughesy
From guardian article - http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/may/22/premier-league-season-ticket-prices Spurs season tickets - £730‑£1,845 Newcastle: £373-£717 So basically our most expensive tickets is cheaper than Spurs' cheapest ticket.. binnsy
http://swissramble.blogspot.ch/2012/09/uefas-ffp-regulations-play-to-win.html interesting article on FFP. Hadn't realised how low our match day revenues were compared to rival clubs. We only generate 1.2 million a match, whereas Spurs with a capacity of 36,000 generate 1.6 million a match. Liverpool generate 1.5 million with a capacity of 45,000. i maybe wrong but i am sure our corparate matchday as dropped significantly under Ashley. Of course it did, in line with the global financial crisis. If you look around the boxes etc this season they are at a much higher occupancy rate than in the last few years. henke
How do our ticket prices compare with the likes of Spurs? Are they fairly similar? I have a spurs ticket on my bench at work, it's been stuck there 6 and a half years since i was unable to go. They were charging £38 back then. Was the game Owen broke his foot. Pilko
Evans is a fucking crook and undoubtedly one of the biggest cunts in football. Anyone who doubts that or doesn't know why, I urge you to do some research about his stint in charge of Boston - in a nutshell, he was done for tax evasion and cheated his way to first the Conference, then the Conference title and into the Football League using ineligible players.
