Kevin Davies not getting a testimonial or new contract five days short of 10 years service... They told him on his birthday...

That is poor from Bolton mind. He's been a very good servant to them, stayed with them when they went down and been club captain without being a pick of bother and never bothering the news pages of the papers.

I can understand them not giving him a new contract at his age and also understand that testamonials for todays rich players are't a good idea, but a game with money goping to charity to honour his time at the club and allow fans to say goodbye wouldn't go amiss surely?

Mental not to have a testimonial?

You can argue the toss over the likelihood of us winning it, but we'll still have a chance of silverware in April this season. Long time since you could say that. [/re-realisation]

Seems those Villa Park astronauts were part of a Lynx stunt.

Never saw that, did anyone make any jokes about them wearing them because there was no atmosphere?

He has been told he can have one if he wishes.

Perma-crock Abou Diaby's leg has fallen off again. Out for 9 months.

Proper shit that for Arsenal. He's not their best midfielder, but they look so much worse without him. Diaby-Wilshere-Cazorla is a great midfield three. Two of them spend most of their time on the treatment table though.

Probably because he provides drive, balance and physicality. Something that is poorly missing otherwise.

Wilshere and Cazorla are great footballers but it seems imbalanced and lacking in a number of things, Diaby provides those things.

I wonder if Arsene will finally give up on him and actually look for someone long term who could provide what he provides except not injured all the time.

He really has to stop being so loyal to his players.
