Guest firetotheworks
Loads of shit players have won the league and loads of brilliant players haven't tbf. Danny Simpson, Henning Berg, David May etc, meanwhile Matt Le Tissier was slumming it in relegation battles year on year and players like Gerrard, Zola, Desailly, Fowler and Ferdinand never won the league either. Dinho lad
Cunts like him don't deserve the privlages that being a professional footballer brings - let alone a PL medal.
jdckelly
he's a solid defender which is turning into a rare attribute for full backs
Beren
It just isn't right Happened to Stephen Carr with the League Cup, now Danny Simpson with the Premiership, next up: Gabriel Obertan - Champions League winner.
Dave
To be fair to Simpson, he's been playing every week in a defence that's been rock solid - only two teams have conceded fewer goals this season. This isn't a case of a shite bit-part player picking up an unmerited title.
Dave
Simpson's PL record this season: P28 W18 D8 L2 Only conceded 20 goals, with 14 clean sheets. Can't argue with that.

Crumpy Gunt
Fair play to him - genuinely bettered himself by leaving NUFC. Of all the mercenary fuckers who've departed for bigger £££ he's likely bettered them all.

AyeDubbleYoo
I don't think he's progressed as a player, but well done for winning the league. He was always good enough to do a job defensively in a functioning unit.
Wullie
His defensive solidity and unwillingness/inability to venture forward makes him perfect to play behind a player like Mahrez so he doesn't have to track back, and can stay upfield ready to do damage on the break. If only we'd had a player like that.

Sho Time
Can't believe this bloke has won a PL title. He couldn't even defend his VK's when I minesweeped him twice in one night in Whitley Bay back in '11.
