That final angle shows some considerably impressive ground he made up between the 'keeper's bad touch and nabbing it off him, considering that's at 33 and post-injuries.

Ha, aye. I thought the same. I also think his beauty against Villa gets called offside if VAR was kicking around.

The list of iconic goals which would be struck off had VAR been existence is probably pretty long. The one that always springs to mind for me - though not iconic as such, but bloody brilliant and easily one of my favourite SJP memories - is the Perez winner against Everton.

Anyway, I shouldn't really infect this thread with such chatter.

Happy Anniversary @Erikse

The only reason why I remember the exact month and approximate date in which I became a supporter.[emoji38] Although the anniversary was last year.

pressing master!

What a player. Such a complete CF. Don't think I remember him ever giving the ball way. Isak would thrive playing off his knockdowns and hold-up play.

Was a brilliant moment when the cameras picked him up whilst the fans were serenading him.

He said recently on TRIF that his son had been trying to get him to do this for ages. Glad he finally went for it.

Someone who hasn't bothered their arse going to an away game for nearly 40 years managing to get tickets over people who'll have loads of points, etc. Atmosphere must have been shit, etc.
