STM Posted January 4, 2010 Share Posted January 4, 2010 The way Ashley works it wouldn't suprise me if we needed to sell him in order to raise funds for a new signing, whether we got a transfer fee or not his wages will save the club a bit of money in that department. You are probably looking at 200k a month for someone who never played. Over the next six months that would have cost us close to 1m. Astonishing that money can be spent in this way. I think £1 million is realistic seeing as though we got near 5 million Euros for Emre. Turkish teams are thick as fuck and probably get their prices from Footie Manager. Butt will be done at the end of this season, unless someone plucks him in the transfer window which I doubt. Smith, Barton and Colo I'd imagine will still be here if we get promoted.
