Listening to Radio 5 Live first thing this morning and they wheel out Custis the Sun Sports Reporter to comment on this cunts appointment.

Quite unbelievable hoop licking. Like, beyond ridiculous, how much credit he was giving him.

The tabloids are going to be very pro. Can only hope he gets off to a losing start and they all slowly turn.

Five Live also had Dean Holdsworth (that relevance) and their senior football correspondent John Murray on, both licking his arse along with the presenters. Giving it all the 'Allardici' wank, referring to the signings of Djorkaeff and Okocha as proof that he loves flair players etc etc. It was fucking unbelievable, found myself shouting at the radio.

It would be funny if it wasn't tragic. Imagine that in any other scenario, about any other manager.

"He's brilliant! Do you not remember he signed Aging Player X for Mid-Table Team Y 15 years ago?"

"Why would I remember that, you fucking maniac?"

Louise has completely lost it in the past few weeks. I thought the way she fawned over Roy Keane was bad.

https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2016/jul/21/sam-allardyce-england-manager-sunderland

Deary me.

"The trouble is that his very real, usually relegation-averting achievements, are difficult to quantify.

Kevin Davies, the former Bolton centre-forward whose career was transformed by Allardyce’s management to the extent that he won an England cap..."

Says it all about why he should be nowhere near the job.

"When his old Newcastle players complained that there was too great an accent on stopping the opponents and insufficient emphasis on what they should do with the ball, he retorted that he’d like them to pass like Arsenal but they weren’t good enough."

Written as if he didn't sign a shedload of players at NUFC that summer, bloody hell.

So true, the Okocha and Djorkaeff thing is utterly mental.

"won an England cap" [emoji38] [emoji38]

An event that made literally no difference to anyone on the planet except Kevin Davies.

Funniest part of that is that Kevin Davies' England cap came in late 2010, more than three years after Allardyce had left. Still gets credit.

It has been quite some time since the England manager's job was considered the pinnacle of their profession.

We know decent managers would prefer to work at a big club rather than take on a national post, but has English football REALLY sunk to this level ?

Only the most deluded could mention England in the same breath as nations like Germany, France, Argentina, Spain and Italy, indeed we struggle to compete with much smaller nations like Portugal, Croatia and Belgium nowadays.

At a time when a total rethink is needed to address the deep problems of our national team, the FA turn to a dinosaur who has made a career, and a lot of money, out of anti-football.

Fucking unbelievable !!  Little wonder that so few give a toss about the national team any more.

Confirmed

So that's Pardew and Allardyce both being trumpeted as top English managers by the national media, while on here they are considered the biggest frauds ever to have disgraced St James. Can't wait for the car crashes waiting to happen.

Going to sit back and watch as everyone is horrified by a boring 0-0 away to Estonia "just don't lose" will be the new motto.
