David28
I'd say it is more likely that he works than the street option. But how do you have that much time of flying around the world over the year while working?
Lagerstedt
"watch twelve games in twelve different countries in one year" Sounds class. Do tell more. Me and a mate are trying to combine travelling with football to a reasonable price. Went to Milano and watched Inter - Caligari (three nights in four star hotel, flight and match ticket totalling to £120 per person), Spurs - Blackburn (he's a Spurs fan and we stayed at my sisters place so we only spent around £90 on flights and match ticket) and now Eintracht - Hoffenheim (four star hotel for four nights, flights and match ticket £85). Been to a game in Sweden (where we live) as well and will try and head to Denmark this month. June and july will get tough to catch games due to WC, so we'll probably have to try and squeeze in a couple of countries in the same month later on, like Portugal/Spain combo or something... You have time and money for going to so many matches/countries? Do you work anything or are you just finding the money lying on the street? We're students and at least I work extra on the weekends. I've basically given up boozing in Sweden because I just can't deal with the hang overs any more (I sound a lot older than I am at this point)! I usually spend £50 or more per night when on the piss so not doing that every week is an easy £200 saved. And since I'm not hung over on saturdays and sundays I can work a little bit extra in a grocery store which really put me in the black. And my grades are up as well so I'm well pleased... And don't get me wrong, I still do drink and socialise when I'm home and everything, just changed priorities for this year to fund this. Edit: Total spend for these three trips and the game in Sweden is around £1100 which I reckon is a bargain.

gazza ladra
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_6134592,00.html Motherwell's highly-rated defender Mark Reynolds has conceded he would consider a move away from the club this summer. The 22-year-old has one year left on his Fir Park contract and has been linked with a move to newly-promoted Newcastle United. Reynolds has no qualms about seeing out the remainder of his Motherwell contract, although that would mean he would then become a free agent. With Craig Brown's side possibly missing out on a transfer fee next summer they could decide to strike a deal for his services at the end of the season. Reynolds has hinted the time has come to move on as he feels he has achieved all he can with the SPL outfit. See what happens "It's out of my hands," he told the Northern Echo. "I have a year left at Motherwell and we need to see what happens in the summer. "If someone comes in, it would be something I'd have to consider. "I have played four years at Motherwell and been involved in practically every game in that period. That's 170-odd games and two European campaigns. There is not much left to do. "That's no disrespect to the club but as a player you always want to go and test yourself at the highest level. For me, that point might come this summer. "Next year, I will be 24 and the club wouldn't receive any compensation for me if I was to move then. "If the club want to cash in, as it were, and get the money for bringing me through then the summer would be the optimum time to do that." Thoughts? Cajun
Can't even find out much info on him, all I know from the internet is he is either 1.55 tall or 1.80 tall and plays somewhere in defence. He also shares the same name as a seemingly better known baseball player

Can play CB and LB. Worth a punt as long as its not for silly money.

TBF, if he is 22 now and if his birthday is next week (I have no clue when it is), then he will be 24 next year. Obviously if he's just turned 22 then he's really bad at maths. Conjo
Gignac is an FM-ledgend, but I have doubts about him. Does he have any stand out attributes? Strong, tall, fast, technical? For some reason I think of him as a Fowler-esque type of player, and I don't think that kind of players can hack it in the PL anymore. A bit like Chopra also when I think of it. Just in case, I have my tin hat on already.

Segun Oluwaniyi
Must be Nigerian... Only joking Baba! Sadly, Baba has died of old age. He was 23. Man, I'm only twenty.....on my passport anyway. I would be stunned if Gignac were to come to Newcastle. He's beeen heavily linked with l'OM recently and I would love to sign him for l'OM or Newcastle. He's a top calibre striker. However, I think he's well out of our price range and wouldn't be interested. He's been struggling a bit in a rubbish Toulouse team this year, but he had 25 goals last year in Ligue 1. Ligue 1 isn't Holland, it's not the easiest place to score and he was doing it for fun.

Would love it if we got someone with power and pace like Gignac. From what you say it doen't seem likely though. Other than Gignac is there anyone else in that mould we could possibly get from France? Can't think of anyone else really ... maybe Hoarau? Although not sure how realistic he is either. Guest
The three clubs linked are Valencia, Marseille & Newcastle. Would he be a regular at Valencia? And perhaps he fancies a move abroad which might rule out Marseille? No doubt there'd be other English clubs interested but I'd say it's a possibility.
