Whilst most journalists seem to be Dalglish apologists Brian McNally is sticking the boot in on Twitter.

@McNallyMirror: As a #Celtic fan I admired Kenny Dalglish as a player. But dealing with him as a manager was not pleasant.Rude, arrogant & at times ignorant.

@McNallyMirror: Patrick Collins aptly summed up the #lfc legend when he said - “ Kenny Dalglish is not as remotely as clever as he thinks he is. " Spot on!

@McNallyMirror: Kenny Dalglish decline began after Blackburn title win. Dire at #nufc, mediocre at #Celtic & 8th at #lfc after huge spend. Yesterday's man.

@McNallyMirror: Pathetic home win record of 33 %, misguided handling of Suarez farce, transfer incompetence &  obnoxious manner put paid to Dalglish at #lfc

It'll be "DON'T BUY THE MIRROR" next.

Pip! Pip! Pip!

What an absolute w***** Terry McDermott is. Having a go at the owners for not being 'Liverpool people' and 'in it for the money'.

Terry Mac is a good bloke but he was talking utter s**** during that interview.

Nonsense. He's a pretentious tool.

Aye, what a dick

He even whispered the word Mourinho as well

:idiot2:

The problem with Liverpool is they're flirted far too closely with entirely losing their status of late.

They're fallen out of the top four, and it's very hard to see how they can get back into it.

It is still a big job, but whereas a few years ago, you'd think maybe managers of the calibre of Mourinho or Guardiola would go there, they're now a club is sliding away from its position of prosperity, and the only way to get it back is to spend a huge amount of cash.

As they're hamstrung with the small stadium, and have just outlaid a load of cash on a raft of shite players, it's not difficult to see there isn't going to be much huge cash to spend there. FSG are not going to pour money into the club Man City style.

So Kenny Dalglish has gone and as of now, Fenway's Liverpool have no manager, director of football, head of press, or new stadium plan #lfc

They've just sacked managing director Ian Ayre too.

who the hell is running the club then ??? Jamie Carragher?

What odds on Benitez coming back? Wouldn't be surprised and would appease the fans.

Can't think of many European names that are available that would go & be welcomed. Cappello maybe? He'd fit in with the boring dross they like.

He knows how to line up cones pretty well, though. And he can pick a three-horse accumulator like neebody's business.

I knew scouse fans were deluded...........but how can most of the fans (it seems) be devastated that he's gone?

He has been a total joke this year. Shambles.

Overspending on sh*t signings > Saurez incidents > interviews > league position.

Scousers >  :idiot2:

Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan has told Sky Sports that Liverpool have not made an approach for Roberto Martinez.

Give them a chance man.

"Still devastated and its been an hour since the news broke. Will take a long time to get over this.

Thanks for everything King Kenny. The man who single-handedly united Liverpool Football Club and the city of Liverpool after its darkest day in 1989. TBH LFC died back then - today is just like the gravestone being kicked over"
