Turnbull2000
http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/anger-journalist-claims-liverpool-fc-10409932 A journalist was blasted after saying that Liverpool FC’s kit should feature a black armband because the club goes “through so many commemorations of disasters and deaths." The comments, made on an Irish radio show by Irish Independent columnist Ian O’Doherty, were branded “appalling." Mr O’Doherty then said: “It seems you cannot go to a match in England now without there being a minute’s silence for the grandson of the tea lady who used to work in the stadium and now she’s feeling a bit poorly. “I mean the joke is on Liverpool because they seem to go through so many commemorations of disasters and deaths that they should have just had a black armband just as part of their regulation kit.”

Exiled in Texas
How can the press not have picked up on this "gem" of a hypocrisy? Unless they don't want to be mean to the great and mighty Liverpool.
Raconteur
How can the press not have picked up on this "gem" of a hypocrisy? They don't want to be mean to the great and mighty Liverpool. Ah, there we go...

Tiresias
Klopp got them playing with attacking panache and enjoyably poor defending already. Sadly they are going to be tremendously fun to watch, look forward to him being sacked and replaced by a 1-0 merchant mind
Interpolic
They were fucking excellent there. Some of the football they played first half was outstanding.

That's how to play football, St James would be packed every week if we got high octane football like that.

Eddy Chibas
Firmino is a huge player for them in the final 1/3. Looking like a 30m acquisition now, under Klopp. Nearly warrants a goal.

The College Dropout
Don't think they'll win the league but with Chelsea so far away top 4 is really there for the taking. Maybe higher.
