strange that the liverpool hierarchy have issued a statement saying that they want the next manager to be in place for 4 to 5 years. you'd think they'd want the next man to be in the job till he retires through old age.

I reckon that's a "we're going for a young manager" message.

Which means the likes of Martinez, Lambert, Rodgers etc. To me, makes perfect sense - both for Liverpool and Villa to look there.

To your average Liverpool fan, who still thinks they've got the stature they had in the 1980s, that's disgraceful.

Would Pardew succeed there?

Pardew himself has admitted part of his success here is because of his back room team. He brought in Carver to give him a link to the club, someone who can do most of the work on the training ground for him. Who can do that alongside Pardew at Liverpool?, KKK?

We have also been blessed with Graham Carr, is their anyone at Liverpool who is a good scout?, no.

I've worked with a couple of them and they all think they are funny. Horrible breed.

There's no point in the media talking to Dalglish's mates. They are naturally going to stand up for him and defend him to the hilt.

The good thing is that if the hierachy at Liverpool keep watching, it'll piss them off to be constantly told they have made a mistake. Keep it up media

A mate of mine that supports Liverpool said that Kenny leaving was the best thing to happen to them, and that finishing 8th was not good enough.

Got back from my folks a few hours ago.

Met at the door by my Mum.

She was in tears.

I asked her what was wrong.

She said "I can't believe they sacked Kenny".

She's not much into football, but knows how much I love Kenny and LFC, having seen me grow up obsessed with the club and the man.

Brought a tear to my eye.

Another facepalm post on RAWK.
