Smal
Bit like last game. Played well other than being largely responsible for an opposition goal.
olliemort
Another good performance. Happy for him as his heart is in the right place.I agree with the previous comments but I think he holds on to the ball too long sometimes because there's no other ball on
AlanSkÃrare
Looking more and more like his old self.
DJ_NUFC
Absolutely fantastic performance, a man surrounded by wimpy boys in the middle of the park. Kept his head when others were furiously pulling their foreskins over theirs to hide them.
Guest neesy111
Only one that give 100% yesterday.
Happy Face
Was he the longest serving outfield player to start yesterday? Think he knew what a derby was about more than anyone else...they should have known better after last season though.
Lush Vlad
Anita getting games ahead of him and then getting the armband seems to have worked wonders. He still dwells on the ball too much. But he was almost like the Cheik of a few years back that we grew to love and appreciate. Hopefully he can continue, as we're going to need players like him this season. We look so disjointed on the pitch and we'll need all the battlers we can get to pull through.
Disco
Least shit out of the lot yesterday. Wouldn't go so far as saying he played well though.

Ste
Did canny. He at least looked like the scoreline was bothering him. Keep it up Tiote.
La Parka
Was at fault for the second goal: Too busy arguing with the ref to be in his midfield position, pretty much exactly where Borini came infield at. Apart from that he was excellent.

Dave
Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote has escaped jail this afternoon after admitting driving with a forged Belgian licence which he had bought from a stranger near Brussels airport for €15,000. The 27-year-old was given an seven month prison sentence for the offence but a judge told him it would be suspended keeping him out of prison unless he breaks the law again. What a dickhead, fucking hell.
