He doesn't have the UEFA licences does he? ???

Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi admits he already harbours dreams of managing his home town club.

The popular Geordie has been a Magpie all of his career so far and, entering the prime years of his playing days, is beginning to make plans for the future.

Ameobi has already secured his Uefa B licence and is currently in the process of gaining his A licence by working with Newcastle's youth teams, alongside Alan Shearer.

As much as he's a canny bloke and a loveable idiot sort of chap, I hope he's never associated with the club again

Just think about it. In the 90th minute of the FA Cup final, as it's heading towards extra time and penalties, Newcastle manager Shola Ameobi substitutes himself on for Jack Colback, and scores the winning goal with his first touch, the final touch of the game. Alan Shearer declares that even though it usually seemed ludicrous, he never gave up faith in the lad. The mackems are devastated.
