Guest firetotheworks
Still reckon Jonas' best form for us was playing central in the 433 towards the end of the season we finished 5th. Should have continued there but was inexplicably moved back to the wing the following season. That 433/4231 worked so well like.

Segun Oluwaniyi
I would probably play him in a midfield 3 for the rest of this season TBH, ideally with Anita and Sissoko. People that willfully suggest Anita as a starting player for Newcastle United must not have watched him. He was the worst player that appeared on the pitch last Saturday and imo, it is not an especially rare occurrence. I'd prefer Jonas to him for reasons other than sentiment. Deuce
All of the above and the fact that obertan and gouffran have about as much to offer as a gastric band salesman in South Sudan.

M4
Still reckon Jonas' best form for us was playing central in the 433 towards the end of the season we finished 5th. Should have continued there but was inexplicably moved back to the wing the following season. He often did so much better when the onus wasn't completely on him to create and be the main source of threat. Purely as a winger he was painful to watch at times, but when he was in a more defensive and retreated role he was more effective because of the element of surprise and extra space from being that extra man. M4
Nothing in that interview comes as a surprise, the club is run by scum. Eurosport article was in my Facebook feed and was reading through the comments (which I know I shouldn't)... So many people making the note that the club is run by cockneys and supported by Geordies etc etc... Going on and on about "dem being cockney scum" is such a disservice to the whole argument. It's very frustrating to hear and read. They're just cunts. Regardless.
Tachikoma
Except Colback, as medicore as he often is, is better in almost every area. For all of Jonas's flaws, you can never, ever accuse him of hiding.
Ronaldo
I said, he's basically a pefect pro. Just not my type of player even during his peak, and certainly not now.

Lenny
Despite what you think of his ability, he seems the sort to be genuinely pissed off by the goings-on at the club (even without his personal treatment). He's at least looked interested in playing whenever he's appeared.

Twinport53
Why we brought him on against L'pool when we needed a goal - I do not know. Distraction from the result. Hence the resulting articles about how well received he was by the Liverpool fans etc etc etc. All a smoke screen.

Even Carver wouldn't throw in the towel with 25 minutes to go at 1-0 behind. It was just a bad decision. The result at the time wasn't bad at all. He could've waited the 10 minutes it took for them to double their lead then brought him on as a distraction.

It's not about the football man. We were beaten before we got off the bus. Stop worrying about the tiny detail of a fucking substitution when this club is dying around you. Whether Jonas came on at 1-0 or 5-0, it doesn't matter.

Mattoon
Don't think he's good enough for the team, however he is outspoken and a strong presence in the squad, he actually has some character and it will be a shame to lose that in the dressing room.
