madras
Go back to the same XI, with perhaps R.Taylor in for Perch as the exception. Perch is quicker and stronger, think we'll need that against Stoke. Long term, I agree, especially at home. isn't perch suspended ? no he was suspended for tonight's match even better, more choices, i wonder if anyone has ever been booked in 6 prem games off the bounce ? Ketsbaia
Draw, which I'm not sure how I'd feel about. Annoyed, i guess. 2-2 with a late Abdoulaye Faye goal
AyeDubbleYoo
I think we're on a massive high now, it should be possible to carry it through and beat Stoke. Especially with Tiote and Ben Arfa restored to the midfield. The next few days will be very happy ones in the camp, can only help us. I know we're in for a rollercoaster season, but I really think we can win this one.

Geordie Ahmed
1-1 The changes from the Everton side would be Krul to start and Raylor in place of Perch
ElDiablo
I'd put Shola in for this, give him an hour after tonight. Same team but swap Carroll and Shola.

JH
Krul R.Taylor Colo Will Jose Rout Tiote Barton Ben Arfa Nolan Carroll Shola and Jonas on after an hour, and let's fucking bumrape them.
Astroblack
It's gonna be tough, can see us taking it 2-1. Would start Ben Arfa but don't think he'll be too effective in this type of physical game.
Dave
Krul Perch Williamson Coloccini Enrique Routledge Barton Tiote Ben Arfa Nolan Carroll I reckon it'll be that. I hope the gameplan is up to scratch this time.
Gallowgate Toon
Playing Ryan Taylor against Etherington is suicide, he'll get done for pace over and over. Perch is quick and seems to be strong at making recovery tackles, this type of match is suited perfectly to Perch's game.

Perch's positioning is shocking - Etherington will destroy both of them, at least Taylor offers us something going forward His positioning won't come into play this game because Stoke don't play that way. It will be a straight up battle with Etherington, who likes to get the ball deep and run at people, playing Taylor is like a lamb to slaughter. nufcmichael
I can see the going in many directions, our confidence is obviously on a high but unlike Everton and Chelsea and like the Blackpool game, we have to create this game. I would play the same team as in Everton...
Ryan_Taylor
Fair play. I'd still play Taylor. Perch will only end up with another yellow card, then not be able to tackle Etherington
AyeDubbleYoo
I don't think Hughton will have thought about dropping Perch for R Taylor... there's very little reason to.
Guest Heneage
Just as people are worried by Perch v Etherington, we have to bear in mind they have Huth and Delap potentially down their right side.
