David28
...In one thread, give Chris a new contract - he has done a great job etc. In this on.... lets slag his selection off before we have even kicked a ball. We dont see the players on the training pitch, this might be the best we can do. Have to agree however that I would prefer to see Guthrie in the middle as I am not sure he is going to offer too much cover for simpon down the right. However, maybe he will start on the left, that would make the most sense. Guthrie on the left would be the most stupid decision imo.

The Prophet
Nolan currently statistically the third best player in the world according to Gillette Soccer Saturday..
Pilko
Gera or Duff at left back for Fulham!

At least he'd have Jose behind him that way and Jonas could attack Fulham's makeshift left back
Belfast Boy
Gera or Duff at left back for Fulham! Looking at our line up, I am not seeing a whole need for them to even play a left back.
cubaricho
What does Routledge have to do to get a start? I don't mind Lovenkrands up front but Guthrie out wide is pretty worthy. Especially when they have a replacement LB in.
oldtype
Its only the wrong team if we lose tbh. The truth. I don't like it either, but he sees the players in training, we don't. We can piss all over the teamsheet when we lose.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
We generally do the unexpected, that team looks weak on paper = 2-0 win.
cubaricho
Pretty sad that I have to leave in a few minutes to drive across town to sell something from craigslist, therefor missing the match, and it doesn't come on TV here until 5. That's a long wait.
ElDiablo
Maybe it's Nolan on the wing.
KaKa
Guthrie is in as much for his delivery and set pieces I would imagine. Also, with Nolan essentially playing just behind the front two, I guess Hughton wants a bit more resistance in midfield rather than an out and out winger. Not sure if it's the right decision though. Guess we'll find out. Lovenkrands ... well, he really needs to try and read Carroll's flick ons and do a bit of a better job playing off the last man. His pace could be useful if he does a better job than he has been.
JH
That's a really risky team. Last chance saloon for Lovenkrands. I'm desperate for him to have a good game.
Disco
I hope someone stamps on Duff's downy face. The fucking horrible little Irish cunt.
Dinho lad
Gera or Duff at left back for Fulham! but we dont have anyone on our RM to take advantage of that.
Beren
Hoping Lovenkrands can rediscover his predatory goalscoring touch - hold out less hope of a sustained footballing impact!

If he can link up effectively with Carroll and be a threat, the added pace upfront could be great for us. Just not sure we have anyone that can thread the ball through to him though. McCormick
Without trying to sound overly negative, I just fail to see what Lovenkrands will offer us in attack.

He had a bit of a knack for being in the right place at the right time last season for some of his goals...I'm aware he hasn't impressed much this season, but I want him to do well as well today. Flip
Dembele and Dempsey are going to cause us a lot of problem. But with Duff as left-back I can see Guthrie being able to play some decent crosses in.
