Pilko
If it was Hughton we'd have seen Smith, Kuqi and Ranger (in that order) from the bench. Glad Pardew gave the young-uns a run out, all of them did very well today.

The Prophet
Take away Everton and Stoke with that silly formation and he's been excellent.

QBG
Got it 100% right today. Giving Gutierrez free reign behind the striker was a great move.

TherealnorthernTOON
Pardew seems commited to give the youths of the club a chance. I'm rather pleased about that. Hope he sends a few out on a loan. And keeps blooding a few during next season.
Foluwashola
Did well today. If he can use his silky skills to bring some milkshake to the yard this summer, we'll be title contenders next year.

Assume this is directed at Pilko as well? Yep. Don't see the point in speculating on hypothetical substitutions in hindsight of what's gone on. Can't fault what I saw today. Jonas off the front was great and the subs were fine.

And keeps blooding a few during next season. he seems keen to see more of Lua Lua. That puts him up in my estimation. Lua might turn out to be shite, but he's got something which suggests there might be an exciting player in there.
Mick
It was good to see him giving the kids game time when he could have been tempted to bring Kuqi and Smith on. All 4 kids have a future here, Smith and Kuqi shouldn't.

True, it's easy to think that he was forced into using the kids, which he was to an extent, but he could have found other ways to avoid playing Fergie et al. toon25
Really didn't like the bloke when he was diets appointed but, fair play, I think he's done really really well. Also appreciate the fight and determination he's instilled/maintained among the players. Well done Uncle Alan.
Steggy
Today was the first time i've heard the fans singing to him, 'Pardew give us a wave, pardew pardew give us a wave'.
James
I reckon he'll be able to get more out of Ashley this window than any of the previous managers would have done in similar circumstances.
Wil
Liking his positive approach to games. He's often emphasising taking the game to the other team and putting them under pressure. Seems to be working for the most part.
