I guess Tiote told him to sign and he did. :)

They should really give Tiote the role of "The Negotiator" for all future contracts.

SIGN IT. REDUCED WAGES OR CRUSHED SKULL. SIGN IT.

We wanted stabiility and here it comes.

you'll regret that

Its coming slowly, i can feel it.

I can imagine it feels similar to know that the poo you've been waiting for, for a week, is finally nearing its glorious introduction into the world. That feeling of being enlightened, fresh, free. Ah, bliss.

Can anyone please explain to me why John carver is a good assistant manager ?

He learnt his trade from the very, very best.

Aye. The very fact he was Sir Bobby's assistant is reason enough for me.

Just been on Radio Newcastle (6.50ish)

A really very positive interview.

He is absolutely sold on the vision of the club and is excited about the future.

Also saying the spirit among the players and staff is the best he has ever known.

He is as straight as a die that man, and would be a difficult guy to bullshit.

So the fact he's bought it all, has made me, for one, feel much more confident about the future.

Agree with that, particularly given the criticism he directed at the club over the treatment of Hughton.
