TRon
I don't think Carver is saying "the tea bags are in the cupboard, I'll bring the bourbons" Look at the gurning twat. Football fans from other clubs must be pissing themselves laughing whenever he opens his mouth.
Collage
John Carver was threatening and swore at Newcastle fans, claims eyewitness Caretaker manager's version of events contradicted by supporter who witnessed row during Swansea game http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/newcastle-united/11565414/John-Carver-was-threatening-and-swore-at-Newcastle-fans.html

Guest axel
Carver said: “One of the lads actually said to me: “Are you threatening me?” I said no come and see my afterwards and I will explain to you. He obviously thought I was (threatening). “There was no way in the world I was doing that. I did that once before (Southampton) and I said then I'd not get involved in something like that again and I ain't. That sentence man Just sums it up really. TRon
However, Carver’s version of events has been contradicted by eye-witness accounts and Ms Choake insisted she felt the club’s head coach had been overly aggressive. “I saw it with my own eyes, having gone to support the team,” she said in an interview with the Newcastle Chronicle. “I used to have sympathy for him but not anymore - I won’t go back while he is still there. “After the third Swansea goal went in and everyone was so frustrated, a guy two rows in front of me started to ask questions of John and then John responded so unprofessionally. “He shouted back, ‘what do you want me to do about it’ and said that he wanted to take the argument outside in a threatening manner. He then used swear words and I am 100% sure of that. It's okay Mike, it's only our football club's name being dragged through the gutter. Carry on John. Disgusting behaviour and instant dismissal in most places I would assume, or at least suspension pending enquiry. FFS If I offered just half the people I work with 'outside' everytime you are frustrated by them, I would spend more time outdoors than in... Oh and Shearer can f*** off as well with his JC 'He's passionate about the club' bollocks he came out with on MOTD...Outside Alan!
pinkeye
What do we want him to do about it? 1) Stop playing Mike Williamson. 2) Stop playing Ryan Taylor. 3) Stop even considering to play Gouffran and Obertan. 4) Get Arbeid on the field from the start. 5) Resign 6) Take out your aggression on Mike Ashley

BlueStar
If we find ourselves in the drop zone, I could see them chucking in Beardsley for the last few games to motivate the players etc, as worked so fantastically with Shearer.
ianovthetoon
There's no way imaginable he can get kept on for next year is there? Hopefully him getting nowhere near the job will be some consolation but it's gonna be rinse and repeat next season. The club is rotten from top to bottom. It almost feels as though the publicity Sports Direct get from the coverage of the club is actually a positive thing for the FCB. If we were doing ok and we're finishing between 7th and 10th we would be a non entity like Southampton or Swansea. That also wouldn't get much coverage in the media
BlueStar
I think some of the stuff about zero hours contracts, shoddy working conditions etc he doesn't mind about. It's basically publicising it as "This shop is absolutely fucking dirt cheap because they're a bunch of scummy bastards" which people may cluck their tongue at, but when it comes to needing a pair of new shorts people will go "Fuck it, I'll go to Sports Direct, I know it will be cheaper than everywhere else because they're so dodgy." This stuff about the scamming in terms of shutting down a store and claiming there's massive discounts due to that, then opening next door with exactly the same prices as were in the closing down sale, that might make people reassess that assumption. AyeDubbleYoo
I can't see him being appointed now TBH, even Mike Ashley can't take a chance on relegation that big. I suppose it's possible we might just get better players and hope that's enough.
