We've come to the conclusion here that players are the best of their respective generation. Messi pisses on everyone he has ever played with or against which is all he could do. Made me depressed at how shit we are and how pathetic our style of football is. I also then imagined Messi running at Williamson or Steven Taylor I'd pay good money to see that. Messi is a joke. The first goal was pretty impressive. As Neuer seemed unbeatable up until that point. The second was just insanely good. He then got an assist to cap the night off and kill the tie. Fair play for two excellent goals, but that little dribble in the first half where he goes in between two and then plays a little nutmeg before playing a quick pass to Rakitic. Or the two-footer and then I think he crossed it in. Those feet. Wish I saw Maradona in his prime so I could compare, some say Maradona was even better at all that except scoring goals. There was a point during a replay of his second where Tyler and Neville were just silent.
