Draw was probably about fair, just wish Ranger had stuck his foot through the ball in the 92nd minute instead of trying another fucking touch. Krul 7 - super save early doors and largely good handling Simpson 7 - went missing once or twice but solid Williamson 6.5 - little bit shaky at times but on the whole fine Coloccini 8 - class, as usual Enrique 8 - somewhere approaching the Jose of early season Barton 8.5 - captain's performance in defence and attack and gets an extra half mark for shitting on Rooney more than once Guthrie 7 - used the ball well, made some crucial blocks and covered lots of ground Tiote 7.5 - daft booking but otherwise very good with and without the ball Gutierrez 8 - useful in defence and excellent for 75 minutes until he visibly tired and became a tad sloppy Lovenkrands 6.5 - wasn't too bad tonight, did miss that header but superb workrate and decent touches (also baulked someone off the ball and onto their arse - had to pinch myself!) Ameobi 7.5 - another manful display leading the line, one or two infuriatingly shit passes but did the simple things brilliantly Ranger 6 - didn't really have the desired effect, should have fucking shot at the death Ireland 6 - not enough time to make big impact - nearly scored Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Booked. Enrique - 8 - Nani and then Valencia in the pocket. Barton - 7.5 - started brightly but faded in the 2nd Tiote - 7 - a welcome return. Booked Guthrie - 7.5 - performed really well, got up and down the field well and used the ball well. Jonas - 8.5 - Best attacking outlet all night. Brilliant in the first although faded a little in the 2nd. Ameobi - 7.5 - battled well all night and we were far less effective when he went off. Lovenkrands - 7 - could/should have scored. Decent shift in the first though. Ireland - 7 - bright although slightly on the periphary Ranger - 6 - toiled. Pardew - 7.5 - did alreet, aye. Dragged out of position a bit in the first half but grew into a very good performance. Coloccini- 7- Good. Enrique- 7- Also good. Barton- 8- Captain's performance Tiote- 8- Super steady Guthrie- 7- Quiet but did a lot of work Jonas- 8- Quality. Superb outlet. Ameobi- 7- Good game, good hold up play.
