Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

'Staying' 'no bids' = inviting bids.

Exactly - "Cabaye is staying!"  then thirty seconds later.. "so it would appear that he is staying."

Yeah, we had to get some kind of update from David Craig as he is getting paid, so lets dress up nothing as news.

The club are going to use "like a new signing"  "keeping him was a great bit of business" shit, as trying to put a positive spin on our diabolical summer.  Still, mugs will lap it up.

Would rather we sold him.

I wouldn't.

I don't want anyone at my football club who doesn't want to be here. I'd rather have Anita grafting his bollocks off than a half arsed Cabaye.

If he stays I'm fairly sure he'll still put the effort in as it's a World Cup year and he'll want to keep himself in the shop window.

Never know, he could actually contribute to us performing better and end up enjoying himself...

Cabaye could have gone, but we it looks like we wanted that £20m which nobody was interested in paying.

We only sell for more than they are worth and we only bid for less than they are worth. Complete hypocrisy of a transfer policy really aimed at maximizing money over getting the best player in for the team.

So basically we're struggling to get players over the line either way.

What a mess we are

Do we even know where the line is that these players have to cross?

As far as I can tell its either a soft core porno or an album by the Bellamy Brothers.. stay tuned David Craig will have an update..

This may help

This is, sadly, spot on.

I dont blame them for that tbh. This window has seen teams drastically overpay, whilst some get great bargains. I can see why theyd have their cake and eat it. My problem is their stubbornness with negotiations and that we've gone too far with the French Revolution. And theres no ambition to ever achieve something.
