Why would I need to follow an account for this info?:dontknow: It’s everywhere the minute we sign someone…

Also, I’m not on Twitter and I’m old [emoji38]

Confirmed NUFC transfers will come from the official site. Quite why we need another site set up by a window licking virgin to do this is Twitter in a nutshell.

I shouldn't diagnose people's mental health problems based on their twitter and social media output, not only because that's not how that diagnosis should work, but also because I'm completely unqualified to make any such diagnosis.

But fuck it, I'm in a diagnosing kind of mood.  Casey, Burnsie and their ilk have some fucking serious issues.  It is all transparently attention-seeking shite, it is all pulled out of their arse and if they have TWO separate sources within the club (two sources being a journalist's usual 'proof' of a story) then our club has employed at least two people who are straight-up cretins.

The fact that anyone in our support listens to a single word that they say or believes a word they write is truly worrying.  I'd be interested if there is any correlation between believing these half-wits and posting 'pro-Boris' shite on their twitter feeds.  I bet the ratio is almost one-to-one (notable that the Krays' best mate and follicly-challenged Tory council candidate Wraith is happy to prop these goons up).

It’s some form of narcissistic personality disorder.

And it definitely affects people of every political colour and persuasion, not just Tories.

 Was Ronaldo to Man U some massive scoop or something?

Well just prior to signing he was on his way to Man City so there was a certain late twist in the tail.

I don’t doubt that we’ve sounded him out and have an idea of what his wages would be. Stumbling block would obviously be how prohibitive the transfer fee would be, considering his is not a priority position for us right now.

Guest HTT II

I’d love him here mind, just on the old YouTube stuff he reminds me of Zidane with his gait, how he always looks to play the ball quickly and his vision.

Think one of the replies on Twitter suggested that we may be holding off until the end of the window due to the size of the fee.

Currently we are painting the picture that we have a ‘budget’ and have been tough negotiators and made reasonably priced signings - if we go and spunk £50+ Million on Paqueta now, could affect the prices we are quoted for other deals, so could be a case of doing other deals first and then leaving Paqueta as the last one.

Might all depend on how much we spend at other positions too. And what moves we make.

I think we really wanted to add goals to the team, and were looking to spend a decent chunk on a high output right winger i.e. Diaby, who had the best output for goals and assists from all our targets in that position.

If the Diaby move doesn't really pan out, and we end up getting someone on the right wing that isn't quite as much of a goal threat and is nowhere near as expensive, then maybe we add more of an offensive minded central midfielder, and put the bigger money towards that i.e. Pacqueta.

I wouldn't rule it out yet, at all.

That's a really good point too.
